Well for one Top 44 from nirvana=schwag.bird seed would be better imo.

Also Heavy Duty Fruity from Thseeds.I bought this after a report from Medicine Man on the old Overgrow.It was pure gick.Crazy variation and the females hermied and ruined my other plants.

Sensiseeds have let me down 3 times in the last yaer and a half through total none germination.Guerillas gusto,early girl and mexican sativa=NONE POPPED!!
Cant say how these strains would have grown had they popped.

Wierd you mention the hdf from around that time. I did the exact same thing in buying them after MM and all the beautiful shots of his buds on OG. Mine certainly didnt come out like yours. Some of the best plants i ever had. Oh how I miss them. I gifted some clones but havent had any luck re-acuireing them.


Anyhow! my worst strain besides the mexican bag seed..........blockhead.

She is the most beautiful plant, solid buds, purples out when temps drop, chocked-full-o-crystals, decent buzz, respectable yields, but......................the catch........she tastes like hay. Even after a good cure and many runs. smooth hay, but hay none the less. funny tho, im still runnin a mom.

i think alot of these worst strains people are mentioning is mostly do to the grower..to much or to little water,ferts,air,RH, and knowing when to harvest etc. i see a bunch of strains mentioned that i grew out and was the kill!

I dont doubt the reports about the HDF. alot of reports came in around that time with alot of growers experienceing a large variation in plants. I guess i got lucky. The gifted clones were actually to other growers who had a bad experience with their HDF. They were astounded in the difference in what i had given them and what they purchaced.

For me it would have to be GHS lemon skunk. Still growing it, but it looks far worse than the Mandala #1 clones I have going. Doesnt smell lemony either.

when I was young and dumb a friend and I watched a huge patch of ditch weed grow all year and we cut it and dried it and smoked one little nasty bud and threw the rest out. Not exactly what the topic is asking but it still sucked LOL.. most of my bad buds were my fault so no one else to blame.. Peace

of all the commercial strain i have tried (lots - maybe 30 stains) the most dis-appointing was The HOG by THSeeds. maybe because it was over hyped. i can see how there might be a killer pheno in there.....but myself and many others have had no luck finding it.

that and TODAYS NORTHERN LIGHTS IS NOTHING LIKE IT USED TO BE.

those were probably the only stains i have grown that didnt live up to the hype in any way shape or form.

p.s. i have to say that the haze i have grown LOOKS like ditch weed. it is the worst LOOKING weed i have grown - But IT"S GOOD. REAL GOOD. and i dont really care for the taste - it's OK , but not great. but the HAZE IS GOOD - REAL GOOD.

also, i have had to do LOTS of sorting through F2's of my Blueberry cross. even backcrossing to Bluemoonshine there was lots of selection to do. dont get me wrong, they are good, but the mother was something special and the progeny have not been. the progeny are better than LOTS of weed, but the mother i found was...well, just better. (only about 100 seeds left to test - grown out about 200, and the four keepers were not better than the mother).

Oh Yeah, Dutch Passion i have tried several times to grow Dream Weaver - the plants that survived have been GOOD, but the seeds have SUCKED - HARD! 2 of 20 lived.

Hey the end im doing mandala safarimix,, i think i have some kalachkra. Will u check my grow and tell me if it looks like the pheno you had. It def is leafy but looks awesome great smell and taste.

too bad about th seeds hdf and ghs lemon skunk both i want to try.

my worst was a freebbie from attitude called g13 labs quicksilver. It was feminized but came out fully male not hermie but male. It didnt autoflower either and worst of all it had the worst smell in the world like fermented rice. Truly terrible

Lowlife auto AK47 for me, stunk like cat piss and was mostly a headachey weak bud for me. Definitely over hyped.

My most frustraiting grow was DP FEM Blue moonshine, while the smoke ended up pretty good they all hermied on me, bad. I got a shit load of seeds. They popped a bunch of flowers before I cought them, had a just about self propelled cab grow going and was not checking them closely enough every day. The ones in the back spooged freely for a few days before I cought them. I am sure the smoke would have been better had I been checking them more.

For me personally....anything I paid over $150.00 a pack for,has never lived up to the Hype.

When I first started,I ordered a couple packs of Shiva Shante2(garlic bud)from Sensi Seeds, just to get my feet wet...everything germed...found 1 keeper out of 2 packs,but it was still really weak...

Reefermans Nutcruncher...huge greasy skanky buds....the high had no couch-lock at all
it was more of a really mellow daytime smoke...It did have a nice chocolate taste to it
these seeds were pre-2004...Reeferman claimed it was so potent his left nut went numb,hence the name....all plants were uniform(exactly the same)...ran 8 different females all looked and tasted the same....maybe somebody gave me the wrong seeds...

I have 5 other Reeferman strains pre-2004...they are all very good.

Ive grown alot of Elites but i also lke to grow seeds and i buy alot of Not IN, strains Since the 80z and 90z and 99% OF THE TIMES , The guys bagging on the seeds are usually the worst growers on earth, and usaully could barley get half out the paper towels alive to germ!!!

When searching for info on strains 99% are baged on Buy some of the guys who could only get 2 plants and 1 was male and bagg on the Whole strain ,,
usaully No phing, nute burnt ,90z + temps one female and the strain shit,,Find out for your self gang

I was a bit dissapointed in the strength of Nirvana's AK-48...Got me stoned,but compared to the 4 bagseed plants I grew they were the weakest....Nice,original peppery type taste though and great looking plants.
I really like Nirvana though,A great budget seed company,the 99% germ rate alone ensures I'll get something I really like from them

Really matter Itsa # game~ i have grown some of the best elites and still miss some of my things like a pheno of sk#1 from sam the skunk mans freebies that smelled like cat piss..or when i made a ton of ak 48 nirvana f-2s and grew outa 100 in Sog and the best ones were Fucking insane....also a purple Nirvana white widow that was off the hinges,, i just boughta butt load of nirvana gear recently over high priced shit, i just but multipule packs.

There seems to be a "KILLER PHENO" in about 1 in every 100 seeds...It doesn't really matter which strain or seed company it is....

I am talking about buying 50 seeds and finding that 1 female thats completely different looking than all the rest...different smell,and different structure....Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you don't.

Nirvana WHITE Widow was my worst... 8-10 males with 2 low yielding but pretty purple females that were as generic as generic could be. IF you ever had generic pretty purple buds you know the flavor/high I speak of..Spicy-Earthy-floral flavor that is nothing special in all regards.

White widow is not the first generic purple plants I've recieved from nirvana seed either.. It seems most their strains or at least the NL, WW, and PPP I purchased in 2005-2006 had the potential of spitting out these purple varieties. Some have been better then others.. My purple ppp had some good qualities about her.. She yielded extremely well

The best $50 I spent was on Rez's wonder diesel.. When sour diesel was all the rage $50 got me as close as I needed to be as far as flavor, smell, and primo smoke goes. I parlayed that $50 10 seed purchase into thousands of seeds that I'll prolly be pulling as good or better keepers from till the day die. Nowadays anything solid I find eventually gets crossed to my wonder diesel stock as well as others. And my personal seed catolog grows
