more than 25 years of indoor and outdoor growing under my belt . i dialed it, it was frosty but zero fucking effect on me or any other people who i have give it away . it has zero potency and these people are all medecinal patient .

i bho a whole plant and same result

i made bubble hach with the whole rest of the crop and i insist on the fact it was less potent thant smoking 3 grade trim of my sensi star .

Nirvana Bubblelicious.

Grew well, easy to keep, tasted just like sweet pink bubblegum but i built a serious resistance to it after two weeks; I just couldn't get more than a slight buzz.

but i couldn't keep it cloned under 24 or 18 hour and finally decided to flower it out officially, as there were always budlets regardless of the cycle.
mostly i'm just pissed because i can't get another run at her.

my most dissappointing strain to date would be a toss up between dna la confidental or dna rocklock due to extremely slow veg growth .do you have to veg these for 3-4 months or what,but after runing them twice i give up and passed them on to a friend who had hassles with them also .

I would like to add Violator Kush to the list. One of the worst smokes I have grown.

I tell you though. I had a Kush Berry form the DNA boys that was lovely.

Far as taste it was the best weed I have smoked. I found it hard to put the blunt down because it was so good.

Soma's NYCD is the truth also. Crazy high and lovely yield. I've got a 65 day greasy diesel and a 77 day purple plant that yields like no other.

Twilight - Poor resin production, flowering time, low potency (I have heard some like it medically)

Though I gotta say I love The Pure from Flying Dutchman. Bought it from their store in 2006 and kept it around for a few years. Very consistent, vigorous, and easy to grow. Solid 65-70 day flowering time, but large, heavy buds. The taste is somewhat acrid, with citrus. Potency was rather high, with a lot of euphoria.

I've read thru all of these posts and have to agree with the guy that said the unstatisfactory results are probably due to how it was grown. Of course, there are shite strains out there, though. For me, the most disappointing was Sensi Hash Plant. $140 USD, germed well, grew well, but taste and effect were not up to par. Again, it could have been how it was grown. A close second was Dr Green Thumbs Endless Sky. $175 USD, germed well, grew well, but taste and effect didn't justify the price tag.
IMHO, the seed scene has gone downhill since I started buying over 20 years ago. It seems too many of the "strains" for sale are polyhybrids with too many phenos. I miss the old days of getting true hybrids and IBL's, which you can find if you look hard enough today. Everything I've grown from Serious Seeds has been a pleasure all round...same goes for Rez. I currently have some Edelweiss from Flying Dutchmen (Sensi owns them now) that I'm really impressed with, but I'll know more after harvest. Too bad it's only available as fem seed.

I forgot to mention that I bought Hash Plant because they boasted a 42 day maturation. They must be counting from the end of stretch....mine took 9-10 weeks from beginning of 12/12.

If ya don't mind, I'd like a little info on why you don't care for the Violator Kush?
Was it the smoke or the growing that was your issue? How did ya grow it? ect....

Everything i have ever paid for, seriously!
Buy into the hype and get branded for the gripe.

The best strains i have ever grown are from other members who have shared there creations without any intentions or expectations.

As for these breeders
they grow out thousands if not hundreds of thousands of seeds and we make them and the resellers hundreds of thousands of dollars per plant full of seeds.
So its hyped up weeks, months before it gets released , given big intro's, mystery and despair, hurry it wont last long, only gonna be a few packs. You buy this crap, stick it in your freezer and by the time you grow it it's long forgotten and you end up finding out the truth to late.

Your being played for your addiction to mans Hunter/Gatherer instincts.
Your stocking up your freezers with bad genetics and patting yourself on that back for winning that auction, fuck the rent i just got "oooey gooey kablooey" !!!!!

Anyways, for me it was Sweet Cindy- BOG, TFD - The Pure, Nirvana -BBXNL

Sorry to hear about your luck man, 18 is an absurd #. I'd be beyond pissed. Maybe if you went a little longer tho? The big book of buds 3 says 56-63 days. That happenned to me with the jillybean(same harvest window) the first time I ran it. It was frosty as hell around day 56 and I think i should have let them go longer. I gave it another shot and took it to around 65days and it made quite a difference. Just a thought. peace

Yeah, I let my Jillybean run about 65 -68 day. Superb sativa high, and it tastes and smells just like a cross between orange and pineapple Lifesavers. It's not the biggest producer, but with a bit of veg. time and training, she definately produces well enough to keep her in my stable. leave her untopped for best results (IMHO).
