lol, i remember when i was working in this duty free store, old people getting stopped with a full basket of stuff trying to walk out without paying for it "oh dear, where is my head at."

When you play pocket pool at the Women's FootLocker.
I was a night time pump jockey myself back in the mid '70s, I worked @ a small Texaco station in Yonkers NY. Of course it was a 'full service' at the pumps as you mentioned, the usually nasty bathrooms folks would find at service stations I kept flawlessly clean.
I never got to run the pumps...I always thought the attendents got to keep all the cash. My brother wanted to be a milkman for the same reasons...or else he was thinking of other benefits
as I recall my boss & I debated that very point on more than one occasion.......
