in '88 I rode out to Sturgis SD, before I'd left NY a friend had given me a set of longhorns to mount on my Harley. I couldn't figure out a way to secure them firmly so I left them in NY, when I was blocked on a roadway near Sturgis by a small herd :nono: of buffalo I was happy that I'd left them home.

More importantly, you know which leaves not to use!

And actually, I have long ago found that a handful of long, green grass does an even better job....

when your pizza joint is the gas station.. which also doubles as your beer spot, and in a pinch you could grab a toaster and an orange hat while your there.

oh why can't I back up and get rid of that first character before what I intend to post? I did object to something else the thread starter said in my thread, but we can all learn to live to disagree right? what do you mean by 4 x 4? I think the intent of the thread was altered by the edit of the initial post. I don't know if you mean 4 wheel drive or some normally off road vehicles but we like in some somewhat more remote parts of Mass and have a a capable truck that can go to 4WD for snow plowing, and ATV's and a tractor that can snow blow, so hope for more snow. Hay no offense by the way, but ok I consider this the country, but if my health was better I would prefer to "live off the land" at least more than I do in the northern half of Maine or something or if younger too maybe Alaska like in those shows but not in the cards for me or those close to me. I can and have shot squirrels and rabbits and such in the back yard, we keep trying to get bear and deer here and nearby, hope we succeed! Venison tastes great by the way from those who have been so great and kind to share!
