I remember when dark and light were times.
Someone on the phone wanting dad. Mother said he will be home at dark.
Or at round up the green hand would ask what time do we start. The answer. We will be riding at light. The meaning. Saddle up when you smell breakfast cooking. We ride at dawn.Ready or not.
