yeah. shorts because it's hot. a raincoat because it's raining. knee-high rubber boots because it is a foot deep in mud/cowshit out there. wear that to town & spend a few hours talking to "curious" police officers...

Yup.. that's my "suit" for about half the year. Other half i just substitute shorts for jeans and get a thicker overcoat. Some days will find me in underpants, socks and sneakers. Luckly no one around to see me.

horse shit is the best kind. you meet some of the prettiest girls in a horse barn. admittedly, it was not the most romantic spot for a first impression, but... whatever gets your foot in the door. plus the close proximity to a hay loft...

.... you know you live in the country when everyone wears socks with sandals and it's not only OK, but just good common sense!

'Cuse me, but if i'd wear socks and sandals i'd need a lot of socks and a lot of sandals. I get a pair of new wellis like monthly. Fancy Bestards are of no use since the shoelaces will end up tangled with brambles and velcro like stuff. Sandals are good, with no socks, to cross the river in summer. I use a fishing vest for winter and a thick stick to withstand the current. My cows follow me, swimming.
If i enter the local cantina with sandals and socks, everybody will be like Nelson out of the Simpsons pointing them and saying Haaaha! As it happens, you know you RECENTLY moved from town to the country if you wear socks and sandals.

Pinball Wizard, you scared me with that pic, got that very race of cows and i risk to do the same picture next season. On the other hand, I'd like a t-bone of that, please. Rare.
