This fool never grew weed. You can really trust his recommendations as he can't spell either, he's probably about 16 with nothing to do but harrass old people. Shame on HAZE TOKER the non grower. Let's see your grows.

This thread is painful to read.

All good advice has been ignored and flamed. And bad advice seems to be multiplying from all over.

I just want to add to my post that my feeding schedule is spot on and my plants are as healthy as can be. 1ml/l is the right amount to feed throughout vegg and I am not going to be told otherwise by someone who has got plants that look like the terminator came to pay them a visit.

I also said that clones could be fed the full 1ml/l which they can be. Yes it would temporarily build up salts for a while but the plants can handle it. I would rather rhave lush green leaves and a bit of salt buildup than something that looks like a spider mite's fart might kill it.

Anyway, you might have misunderstood me because I actually feed my newly established clones at 0.5ml/l for the first week which is what I would recommend you feed them to get them green again.

So how much are you feeding atm?

Any1 else thinking of posting another comment about why MG is great or why some1 is not a cannabis grower, just leave it and do something better with ur time...

I agree blackmelo, this thread turned into a bit of a flame fest when the miracle grow was mentioned, funny that.. I pulled a couple strings and what did I get? 20litres of miracle grow moisture control compost...

I'm going to do a three way grow-off with the best 3 of the batch of 15, one will have bio-bizz all mix, another will have westlands multipurpost compost with added john innes and west+, and the third will have the miracle grow moisture control so I have taken advice on board and acting on it.

-feeding..
gladysvjubb- said he uses distilled water only, i'll be using tap/filtered 50/50, feeding the westlands and bio-bizz plants and only watering as required on the miracle grow, we'll see what happens..

Those 6 clones are my pre-pH meter clones, the pH was too high hence them looking like the terminator got them, the 15 are post-pH meter and miles healthier.

Before, 6 worst affected by pH..

After, potted up in final pots.

Also these 15 have been a breeze, seeing as I have been able to keep a close eye on the pH levels.

Lets see what happens in a few months shall we?

I am currently giving them 0.5ml grow nutes to 1litre of water, this works out to be around 0.8ec, bloom will be introduced over the next few days again at 0.5ml per 1 litre which will put the ec up to around 1.0.

Right on...I'm ready. :lurk: Looking forward to seeing these results for sure!!! What kind of light will they being growing under Pimp?

250mh for vegging then when they are in their final pots mixed dual 250's mh+hps but hps for first 6 hours, switching to mh for next 6 hours then back to hps for remaining 6 hours with 15 min over laps in between switching, similar process for flowering but 4 hourly.

I'm predicting on yield and smoke quality the results will be..

#1 westlands
#2 bio-bizz
#3 miracle grow

we'll just have to be patient now, the pots were labeled earlier so I don't get them mixed up :p

miracle grow is awful, their mosture max is even worse. I only use that shit outdoors in guerilla growing because its loaded with poly crystals. That stuff doesnt drain worth a damn and its worthless IMO for indoor growing, if you can make it work thats great but i think its shit. Your bio bizz soil is probably going to be the highest yielding out of the 3.. dont you think?

The westlands is bloody good stuff! i'm not sure which will come out on top really.. it's going to be fun either way and I don't mind sacrificing one plant to prove a point :joint:

Oh dear, I wonder what happened to you? never mind... I won't miss a troll :moon:
here's a little update folks :)

should have mentioned.. so far believe it or not the miracle grow is slightly out performing the others (slightly bushier), that said I remember reading a post somewhere, someone e-mailed miracle grow saying is it safe to use on edible crops and they said NO plain and simple so i'm not taking my health in my hands more than I am already.

Also I have been feeding them all the same, I half expected nute burn on the miracle grow plant but nope.. they are all worthy of a glossy photo shoot now but to reinforce, I will NOT be smoking the miracle grow plant.

Man I've been perusing the infirmary looking at skanky plants most of this evening trying to find ones as sick as mine but along the way most of the threads turn into slanging matches. I don't get why someone would copy and paste the same advise about ph run off measurement methodology and some prognosis dressed up with percentages of trace elements. Black Velvet you have no soul. Your bedside manner stinks. Get out of the infirmary and stick to doing some other doctor research type stuff instead.

Anyway. Just posting to say I'll be following the 3 way soil test. Despite the really ugly plants of the Miracle grow champion I'm surprised you've decided to take the challenge and can't believe its doing better than expected.
