Is the light you are using a cfl? If not you may be burning your plants, since you say they are 2"-3" from the light.

they were under a cfl, they are under my mh light now, all of them are showing signs of a mg deficiency to now so i mixed up some epsom salts into around .4 ec of grow nutes and i'll mist them just before lights off tommorow.

Sproutco AKA, Black Velvet AKA, 8-ball, etc. is the resident mad scientist and cannabis killer. :pointlaug He is a guy who constantly spits out numbers and percentages of stuff he reads. Sometimes what he says is right. More often, I believe, he is wrong. Regardless of all that, he doesn't grow anything. I mean, if you are going to give all this advice, at least show where you may have applied said advice, in your own garden. He just confuses people with his mathematical equations. Leaving viewers baffled by his bullshit, instead of bedazzled by brilliance. His info., however received, was not gotten through hands on experience. Here is his big contribution to growing
His claim to fame, immortalized!!!! :pointlaug :pointlaug :pointlaug

He's not very original. Just stupid, and considering he doesn't even bother to change his writing style or wordings at all, I doubt anyone would be surprised with his climbing number of troll handles.

How else is he going to build rep points?

True, true, no one else is going to help build that up. Maybe knock it down a few hundred points, but not build it up.

How are the plants looking, dude? Any updates yet?

I think I potted these up too early :badday:

Slightly greener I think

I prepped the hashberry at the back there last night for taking more clones in a week or two, incase those ones struggle, theres not much wrong with the 15 ai clones in the back there, slightly hungry and mg def so in 1 litre I mixed a 1/4 strength feed of grow, 1 level teaspoon of epsom salts (in boiling water first) and a few ml of seaweed extract, i'm going to mix some more epsom salts and more 1/4 strength grow nutes and mist them just before lights out.

Thanks for the help

Now really....... Do you have a

Now really....... Do you have a

science laboratory for measing micro nutrients and such? WTF epsom salts, blah, blah, blah. All you are doing is guessing and screwing your plants big time. When are you going to get smart and use a mix that is all prepped for 3 months worth of grow? All you add is distilled water. The heck with that other junk and guessing. Use Miracle Grow MOISTURE CONTROL MIX. you will be surprised how easy it all is. I have wonderful grows with huge success ratios by keeping it simple. Wise up!!!

Preferted soil & moisture control soil= VERY bad advice. Do we really need to explain why? You should already know that.

^^ lol.. my organic compost and organic nutes are designed in holland specifically for growing cannabis, i've heard in the past that miracle grow composts are too hot for cannabis, also theres no way on earth that i'm lugging 120+ litres of compost on a bus over 200 miles cos i dont drive and i cant get that compost delivered online or mail order.

You got any pics of your miracle plants?

You're right, but that problem's easily fixed by getting out an old fashioned beach sand sifter (like the kids use) and sifting out the peat moss, bark, rocks, etc as well as the nute balls (small yellow balls)
Granted it removes the perlite, but that's easily added back from a bag of it. I always follow that with a good straight PH adjusted water flush, and voila, it's just as good as the more expensive soils, but for a few bucks less (yeah, I'm a bit stingy)

The moisture control crap never lets the roots dry out, and runs a very, very high risk of creating root rot---Mary Jane likes a good soaking, but she also likes to be bone dry before she's given another soaking.

I was just explaining to someone on pm's that you dont need a diary or pictures in your gallery to grow weed or give constructive advice.

heres what they looked like before..

and now..

I can see an improvement! i'll keep the nutes going on 1/4 strength and I think i'll reduce the epsom salts to half a teaspoon tommorow then stop the epsom salts for a while.

One grow using.......

One grow using.......

MOISTURE CONTROL MIX.

As you can see the entire grow was from start to finish with only DISTILLED WATER and to finish it off I used one teaspoon of molassas for the last few waterings. This weed has everyone clamoring for more.
