damn Niki, I didn't think you even grew....
Been growing since the days of OG. Just haven't had the best luck germing this year---5 months in to '07, and only one germed seed (still died on me) Oh well, it's a risk you take with bagseed (or any seed, for that matter) Eventually, I'll have to shell out for decent genetics & have a go with that. The biggest advantage would be actually knowing what strain I'm growing for a change :D

Wow, I'm guessing he's growing under CFLs, as I do...But damn, I've never had stretch that bad before. Close, but not like that :yoinks:

mandala sells good genetics that are affordable :)

bag seeds are nasty.. i have a bunch here, going to try to start a few off later to try get a third mother :)

how have they been dieing? i'm guessing either too much or not enough water, have you tried putting the seeds straight into a rockwool cube or something and putting the lot in a prop keeping temps roughly stable ~26c and just mist a little twice daily (morning and night) also ensuring the cube is kept moist but not water logged?

My funds for growing are limited, I haven't been able to get ahold of rockwool (looking forward to using it, though)
The seeds that do sprout tails, die quickly. The water's been left standing for 24 hours for the chlorine to evaporate, & has been PH adjusted (tap water) I soak 'em for 12-24 hours, then use the moist paper towel in a warm place method. It's never failed me, but these last batches just won't germ, much less stay alive.
The one that barely pulled through was put in "virgin" sifted, flushed soil, and simply shriveled up & died overnight one night. It didn't do well when it popped through the soil, and never did any better.

The seeds have probably just been too old, from almost 2 years to nearly 5 years old.

I've been eyeballing Mandala, and Nirvana seeds, both seem to have pretty good reputations in the community.

Dude, lay off the damn moisture control BS. You're not going to find much of any support for it. All of us who've used it know better

Here we have SPEED QUEEN from Mandala. This grow is currently going along. Notice how there are no leaf burns or stress from screwing with nutes? Just add distilled water.

Science at its finest! Looks good to me! How about you?

That and quite possibly from harvested early plants, I hope you have a windfall soon!

I hear you on the limited budget, i've been building up my grow cabs for the last 17 months and there's still a few bits and pieces I need but can't afford.. it's depressing :(

It's Nirvana's Aurora Indica that we are growing, she's getting a bit fussy in her old age though.

In the nicest way possible.. go and paint ur grow room.

Seriously, if those pics are your incentive for people to go out and waste money on moisture control compost, all due respect but if someone tried selling me that in the shop i'd give them a tub of vaseline and tell them to shove it up their ass.

His third pic down's a male. Unless you're breeding your own seeds, those tend to be better served removed ASAP & put in cannabutter before they drop their pollen.
Actually, the third up from the bottom looks like he's got two males.

His bud must be pretty seedy...Pardon the pun.

As you can see the reports of hot soil with MG MCM are exagerated. I don't care if you use it or not. You are the one's with "problems", not me as you can see. My grows are nice and green and healthy, not like the crap you grow. I'd be embarrassed if I were you to post stupid questions and get intelligent answers back. I'll think of you while I vape away on some premo material. :moon:

I'd be more embarassed if I were you trying to hijack someone else's thread with your 2/1 male/female ratio grow.

I have no probs with seeds.. it's clones that dont like me, I grow clones cos they are free and I don't have to sex them so any chance you can go away and tend to your stretched plants, paint your grow room and take the cables off the floor?

PS: Get it into your thick head I CAN NOT get that compost anyway.

gladysvjubb, Why are you pitching something as horrible as MG? :yoinks: You remind me of sproutco trying to pitch stump remover! And as far as vaping primo how so if you got seeds?? So what are you growing for seed or bud?make up your mind. :pointlaug
