Personally, I'm not even convinced that PPM is relevant; the point is to stress the plant, not to feed it. I've never bothered measuring the PPM of my solutions and have successfully made seeds a few times now. If you followed the directions, your CS is probably fine.

PPM must be relevant, otherwise you can't stress the plant :)
But how much PPM is required? Nobody appears to have an answer for that. It could be quite low, as you are suggesting :)

True dat! True. I do think the number must be very low, though, and that people become unnecessarily sidetracked by it because we're so in the habit of measuring aspects of growing. You've presented a simple set of instructions here. Following them as written has worked for me every time (and I thank you for it!).

Inzion, I figure my CS is ready when I see silver tails dangling in the solution. Ultimately, the best way to tell if your CS is valid is to start using it. Wishing you success.

hi
ofcourse i used a distilled water which was 3 ppm and after a 36h of reaction i got 7 ppm

i thought we already have an answer
We're aiming for a solution that's at least 30ppm or more - it seems that with weaker solutions we can end up with male flowers that have little or no viable pollen, so if you do make it yourself get yourself a PPM/TDS meter, they're not expensive.

i'm already started)) and what u mean "silver tails"?

little dangling 'tails' will hang off the silver ingot at one lead or the other, sometimes a silver sheen sits atop the water/solution.
good luck...have patience.

What Trichrider said. Also, take a look at High Country's post #964 on page 65. He posted a photo of what I mean by "tails." Looks like he uses silver wire to make his solution.

thats how the coins looks after the reaction.
i start another reaction and now solution looks yellow or something,u can see previous solution on the right,it's blue.
can't understand what i'm doing wrong & why my solution have such low ppm after reaction...

That is actually a commercially made colloidal silver generator. The wires as you call them look bent and fucked up. This is due to refraction of light in a round glass container. They are dead straight....pure silver.

I've been brewing my cs in distilled water for 2 days and it has only gotten to 18ppms using a 9v battery I sprayed for first time today I've switched out battery and hooked up 12v modem cord with New water also distilled its at 13ppms after a hr how can I ensure that it reaches 30ppm

1) If you are to begin once more with distilled water you can spike the solution with some already made CS.

2) Keep the electricity passing between the electrodes. You may need to use a wire brush to clean the electrodes from time to time.

3) Reduce the volume of distilled water.

4) Increase the voltage.

5) Increase surface area of the electrodes.

I believe all these methods or explicitly or implicitly stated in the protocol at the beginning of the thread.

I have question about breeding them.

if a person has 1 very good female, and no good males. can you use this trick to get pollen and pollinate other females as well? would the result be feminised seeds still? could this be useful in getting 2 very good phenotypes females to breed together?

Hi. I have done this procedure to turn a few of my females in hermaphrodites and it has worked but they are not releasing any pollen what so ever from the balls and it has been 2 weeks since first balls appeared. They have not fertilized any of my females despite being sat infront of a fan. Help would be appreciated.

Dude its all in the thread, re-read. I would guess maybe yer CS aint strong enough or you didnt spray long enough. Maybe just keep sprayin if you have stopped, cant hurt right? Since yer not gonna smoke that plant anyway...
