You're dodging the question :D

But I was already certain you think he's trash.

I find it fascinating that you can judge people with such ease.

You amaze even me dag.

Lennon and Himmler in the same pit.

I bet St. Peter gives you his book when you show up.

the question.
what do i see?
someone who took another human beings life for no fucking reason.
ask those people whom the deceased left behind if they think the murdering POS is trash.

saint who now?

the only saint for me is st. paulie girl ;)
i dont plan on "showing up" to the big imaginary party.
we live in a world where evil exists.
not because of some red guy with horns.
because evil people do things to ruin others lives out of selfishness.
be it abandoning your own son
or
standing on a corner with an evil sign at a poor boy's funeral.

BTW: you pulled out the himmler card ;)
i just pointed out if you use a person as an insult you have "judged" two people ;)

i guess im not the only one peter will look to for advice.

This amazes me even further that you see murder as something trash would do!

You were just defending cops for shooting a kid with a knife.

Amazing.

It's really rich you think a swastika would make someone trash. If they were really a Nazi then I'm sure you would find much more common ground if you talked to them about it.

You used the word selfish as if it doesn't apply to you. Share some respect, you may have too much even for yourself....

I made fun in the Whoopie thread but it wasn't over dreads. My apologies go out to any that completely wax off their eyebrows.

There was even more narrowminded bullshit in that thread.

The fact of the matter is hate is like a cancer.

If you can actually call someone a piece of trash for whatever reason you see fit, you have lowered your value to theirs.

I still love and respect everyone. Even a killer. Even a misguided old man that has hate in his heart.... dag I was talking about your pastor there :D

not my fucking pastor!
no redeeming qualities there whatsoever.

i think you and i see the world in different ways.
you think mine is wrong for your own reasons.
i think yours is admirable but very naive. just as naive as those true believer religious types.

IMO, if Whoopie is in some way eyebrow challenged, the joke was in poor taste. If she just plucks em out, it's a fashion joke. Still poor taste? Maybe. Hatred? Not in the least.

Naive is thinking that peace is impossible and hate is productive.

Value what matters and things change.

If you don't well.... things get worse.

I sincerely hope you realize this.

This is not an ad-hom hate post. I think it's worth risking teetering on that line in the hopes of self-reflection. Here is what I know about you, OP, by your own admissions in a few threads I've read:

A) You picked up an assault charge recently, and it's not your first run-in with the law (of course, in accordance with almost all criminal charges in the history of human civilization from the perspective of the accused, it's a bullshit charge, etc. etc. )
B) You're rarely employed
C) You don't have a lot of money
D) You're breeding
E) You like to drink; apparently a lot, bc you did so soon before to a court-ordered drug test.
F) You give your child a hair cut that, fair or unfair, is associated with all the aforementioned negative (In my opinion, and in society at-large's opinion) stereotypes
G) You're in a very conservative state with harsh cannabis laws, I'm assuming you use cannabis, and your hair style screams out "I use cannabis..."

Given this context, I think you can better understand why it might have been a bit tough to swallow from the perspective of your parents. I just hope you bypass the instinct to react defensively- being it's the internet and all- and take this neutral observation into consideration. All the best...

Peoples' lives are so troublefree they see it necessary to "help" others with their "problems", in this case your hairstyle..
I just wave happily and smile at these people..Makes them boil inside even more.

Unfortunately we all know people judge others. If I had dreadlocks, I know I would get the attention of the wrong sort. I would be profiled somewhat by police as well.

If you truly want to fly under the radar, you would have a buzz cutt, or something police/military/ etc.
Dress somewhat nicely, jeans, dressy type casual button shirt, nice shoes/boots. Then you wouldn't get looks, or trouble. You would appear to conform to societies standards, and even given better treatment by all. You would be innocent.

All the while being someone different. Style can dictate how you are received, and reflects your outcome.

Or you could just be honest and try not looking like someone you don't want to.

Society won't change its stance if nobody challenges it.

I don't even have dreads (but many have bashed me assuming I do) but if I did I don't think I'd shave them and try to look like a cop just to hide.

Best post in this thread and something the OP(and many others) should take to heart.

I don't mean look like a cop. It was the easiest way for me to describe the hair cut.

I meant look respectable. Being dictated by older members of society.

If your "renegade" attitude is what you like, then I think your fight is not calculated. It's a worthless battle. To have a haircut just because. If you truly enjoy the dew then great, just realize it comes with a stigma(s).

If you think that laying low and playing clean cut is the way to go, then I must agree to disagree.

I think there are more people normalizing use by their choices.

Then there are people that criticize them whilst hiding under the rug muttering "They'll never go for that".

I have more respect for the former.
