Yeah, the last time I ate a firecracker that actually got me high I was high for about 8 hours as well....I even woke up high after a good sleep. But I used 2 grams on a single cracker....man oh man that was a whole different level than smokin' it that's for sure.

I like tincture for ingestion... I've been playing around with various ratios using 151 rum....

depending upon how you take it - swishing in the mouth - or swallowing it - and how much food in your stomach when swallowed it can come on very quick or take an hour. I always feel a little something right away and then it creeps to a peak 2 hours later..

Bugger buying a tumbler...just make one, is very easy.

Agreed. Now, they give a number of wires per inch, but have different size wire...wouldn't this actually give a different micron size opening? ANy tips on selecting a count/ width combination? I have a chart for monofilament screen, but couldn't find one for stainless...

Butte, the diameter of the thread can be different from company to company so going by strictly LPI is decieving at best. The only true way to know without knowing the thread diameter is to get the "hole opening size", some companies list it some don't. 1 micron = .00003937 inches. So if you know the opening size in inches divide it by .00003937 and that will tell you how many microns.

Ie. 120 lpi with a wire diameter of 0.0037 and has a opening size of 0.0046333 inches:
.0046333/.00003937 = 117 micron

After 6 months of drying it was time to put my weed -Maroc x Lowryder- into jars for longer storage
While I did this I collected all the small parts from the bottom. Followed by a quick dry sieving with a regular kitchen sieve. The remaining plant matters went straight into a huge joint and it blew me out of my socks. The kiff, real nice and pure, I used the day after and was even greater.

Woo-Hoo! Got my new computer and love it. Here are some photos from what been happening around these parts the last few weeks...

...a bit over 6 oz before it was bagged for the shot below...



The pile in the middle is about half of the kiff from the big leaf, the jars in back are different fine trim runs. The full jar on the right is ~4 ozs. The slabs on the right were different tries at using heat with my new press. The rectangular pieces in the bottom right are 1 oz slabs. Clockwise from there is a PK nug, and a tin with some bubble and a couple hand rolled balls.



110 lpi seems to let through very few, if any, contaminants.



This one is a knock-off of the Cherniak picture on the left. Notice how the frame has bent from the pressure of the 6-ton jack. I think the original design used a 4-ton, but I'm pressing bigger slabs. Either reinforcing the channel steel or getting thicker steel is necessary. I bent the spring plate in a bone-headed, already smoked too much dry sift move



The pressed ounce bars. You can see just under my thumb a different imprint I tried.



...and a couple from different genetics. Interestingly, these are the same slabs on the floor in the press picture above; weird lighting I guess. I gave each batch a unique imprint so I could tell them apart easier. I've yet to run a lot of flarf from the garden and hope to imprint the strains on those.
