These materials, yours included unless you've lined the walls with mirrors, are like 99.99% reflective.. Yeah, you would need a long exposure inside the dark tent to capture the 00.01% of light that anything but a mirror lets through.

Who presses a cfl up to the side of their tent anyways.. Its a bullshit statement in the first place, but also one that has no bearing in real world usage.

Okay... I just want to add one thing here. I came to this forum particularly to find out if there were other tents on the market with NO gassing issues and one that was more recommended. I have never done a tent grow but am about to buy my first one. Now after reading this I think you're all asshole because this forum didn't have one bit of complete information. No pictures of the new Silver Hydro Huts (a digital one time use camera are really cheap) with a light inside no pictures of anything except a DR ( just to add here I have laid hands on a darkroom before and the corners are fucking rock solid.)which is what I was thinking of getting. So what I'm hoping by posting this is that SOMEONE who isn't here to just be an asshole and make point might lead me in the direction of good tent without all the bullshit.

Let me know if anyone who reads this isn't an asshole and wants to help out with my tent finding project.

I mean can't we just all get along. If the new Silver Hydro huts are the shit someone put a light in that bitch hang a fan or two and take pictures for fucks fucking sake. Maybe a pictures is worth a many many words. I mean all i've seen thus far is good looking pictures of the DR and people talking shit about the Hydro Huts so lets see something.

BUT I have never owned a hydro-hut but I do own a dr-120 and really, it is light-proof. I've had three guys stand inside while I turn lights on the outside and they couldn't see anything even around the zipper. And vice-versa, turn lights on inside and have all the guys stand in a dark room lookin' for leaks. I must stand by Secret Jardin, and for the price, I think it is a winner. I know one other person on this forum would say the same but I wont pull him in because of all the bitching.

i just like the idea of being able to colapse my grow if landlord is on the way over, and it has vents built in. i could probably build my own for $50-60, but if i need to take it down where do i hide the 6-8ft pieces of lumber?

There's lots of things you can build it with. Bamboo is a good choice. So is fiberglass, or aluminum.. All are easily cut, light, and could be hidden. If you're not somewhere secure enough to hide a grow at all times though, I would really reconsider.

Where are you going to hide your plants and collapsed grow tent? Why would you need 6-8 foot lumber for a 2 X 2 Grow Area? Go with the Jardin ... apparently they are the easiest to collapse ... There was no material change told to us. We never asked for one. The mfr still denies there was one after all this time. So, we had to find the problem. Other companies haven't looked for a problem and don't care. We do care. We never sat on our asses dear sir so don't accuse us of what we did not do and you know nothing about quite clearly.

We tested and something changed. Please stop saying we never tested. That is false.
