Mainstream media in America seems particularly poor and dumbed down , the BBC takes a more sober view though far from perfect.

Al Jazeera is pretty good for middle eastern events , in more detail than most sources provide , often from a different perspective.

I was just wondering if this was your attempt at sarcasm ? BBC? How much does your BBC talk about the "International Court of Common Law "in Brussels ? Frankly, once Liz dies and old jug ears takes over, abolition of the monarchy is a possibility.

Nor should we believe unsubstantiated internet sites with their own agenda , run for profit or the authors ego.

In the absence of provable information from someone who was there , you use many sources and come to your own conclusion .

Most mainstream news is driven by the need to fill a 24 hour channel with something , the plane story is cheap to run.

The BBC is currently giving much time to the trial in South Africa , of little concern to people in the UK , hard news is disappearing fast.

Better the queen as a figurehead than a president Blair or Cameron.

A standard factor in these debates is that they love to demean their opponents in some way , calling them naive, deluded or blind or disinfo working for the oppressor.
They usually think that they alone have access to the real truth that the majority of people do not , thinking they’ve noticed coincidences that other people either haven’t noticed, or refuse to.

Most of the theories involve some elite group or a minority that has power over them , the politics of envy and the arrogance of youth with a feeling of helplessness within a political setup where voteing changes little.


The Hitler reference is interesting , a deliberate and real conspiracy to blame an identifiable minority for the post war economic situation in Germany useing eugenics and building on a long existing european anti semitism , only a hardcore brainwashed minority of germans believed it to the end.
