I think a lot of people prefer the safety of a pheno hunt over the fear and risk of inviting pest and pathogens into their gardens. Not to mention not everyone claiming to have certain cuts actually has what they claim.

The problem with seeds of elite cut “strains” is really simple. Lebron James’s offspring aren’t lebron james. If the parent is truly elite you’ll have to filter through 100’s of offspring to find a comparable example. Even then the original cut is usually better in at least one area.

Run the right gear or make your own hybrids

Unless you're Pico brand or someone on that level you don't gotta run hundreds of plants to find a banger

I have enough thh and oh seeds to find several 5%ers. As well as several hybrids.

On the other hand I worked an afghan years ago that started with 2 free seeds.

For me to keep something it has to be top shelf quality, finish in under 9 weeks, and yield at least 2lbs per 4x4 tray.

Yeah, I popped 100 blueberry a few years back and didn’t keep any of them more than 2 runs.

On the other hand I worked an afghan years ago that started with 2 free seeds.

Top shelf in under 9 weeks? All the stuff that gets you high takes 12 or more.

If I could charge 1.5-2x as much I would grow haze’s exclusively.

I used to have an amnesia haze cut that finished in 9 weeks. It was one of my favorite plants I’ve had. It was 80% haze effect, and the 20% that wasn’t didn’t come until the end of the high.

That 20% is the part I've come to dislike. For personal smoke I don't want anything remotely sleepy or lethargic unless it is the last smoke of the day.

First chem was a seed before being dog ! And seeds can be better than the parents or just something different than you like ! Stardawg, tres dawg for example.

Not everyone can get those cuts ! And if you have those cuts ... we are all happy for you !

The ip91 was the worst one with the cobra lips from bohdi, the plants look good but no taste and boring effect.

What OG Chem did Rez have , so he means the Chemdog bx2 Male ? , and the OG Chem strain.

I was 90% sure that was the guy , now I'm 99% sure it was the OG chem he grew and won a cup or 2 , then worked further and changed name to Double OG chem ? .
Anyone personally know this guy

I'm pretty sure several people have crossed an og with a chem and found keepers. The one I posted I made myself.

Also. Out of all the og and chem varieties I have grown, the ISP is the only one I have found a gassy/chem male that got me high.

There was no OG Chem from Reservoir seeds

I remember this guy winning the cup back then and reading was highest terps or potency back then or whatever and thinking wow that's some cool shit being 1 of my strains.
Anyone who knows him tell him would be nice to mention my company when he uses a strain to base of his whole seed co and not even a mention , but gives credit the Reservoir Rat instead
