Lookin hella good in here who dat! What does the cocoon smell like?

It smells kind of creamy, but more Vanilla. To me it smells like Bolthouse Vanilla Chai tea,

but with more fuel mixed in after the cure.

I would like to point out however that this was a Wookie Dominant pheno that I kept to run a second time. Out of the original 3 females that I ran there was another scruffier shorter wookie dom pheno but there was also a LHB dominant pheno that I didn't run a second time.

Chunky, here is the picture of The 3 that I spoke of. It was taken just 2 hours ago. These plants have another 2-3 weeks to go.

Thanks for stopping in guys  I've been pretty busy lately and haven't been around the boards as much. Nice to still see some interest in this thread. The greenhouse is still rocking along with the last GG4 outside. The Black Lime Reserve has come down and I've separated most of the larf, bucked all the fans, and have been hanging it to dry. It's good to be trimmed now, just to find the time to do it. I'll put up some last pictures here with finished shots of everything.

Great season!
Can't stop looking at that picture of the three.

Thank you. I feel like everything in there is killing it on looks and frost but they won't yield much of anything. They went in there late after my first dep harvest. After that one and the mold I had to deal with I've left all windows and doors open except for the one or two nights where temps have gotten down to upper 20s. The cold has definitely impacted them but we'll see what they end up doing as they have at least another 2 weeks to go.

Not complaining though, this has been one hell of a finish for a Colorado frontrange outdoor season. Warm and dry, what more could you ask for?

Just found your thread. Great job. Looks like you get quite a fade at the end from lack of P. Are you adding P during flowering?

This season I was using a hybrid of organic bottled nutes and also top dressing and segued over to exclusively top dressing. I had so much going on throughout this outdoor season in regards to soil volume, no til vs. ROLS, different strains, etc. I'm also running everything for the first time for the most part and learning how and what each girl likes and how she behaves. Is there a specific picture or pictures that you are referencing?

everthing is looking killer:tiphat:

Thanks :good:

First foto. Cocoon harvest. 10/12 Solid fading on older leaves ending up with some serious purple.

This was one caught my eye.

Ah. I had a straight up biblical amount of grasshoppers this year. Seriously, like scorch the fucking earth to get rid of them and they only kept coming. I sprayed the plants every other day with different sprays in rotation of neem, essential oil blend, homemade habanero and garlic spray, etc. The sprays primarily got the foliage around the outside of the plant and I couldn't get the stems and branches underneath so the grasshoppers would literally eat the bark off of the branches, scalping them down to the white core of the branch. A lot of these branches I cut off as they were so damaged and others I decided to let finish out. I learned that these branches were always destined to be underdeveloped and larfy. They threw out some really pretty colors though compared to the rest of the plant. Notice how the other branches aren't nearly as colorful, if at all? You can check out earlier posts in this thread or different pictures on my Instagram to see what I'm talking about. I hope to never have to deal with shit like that again :2cents:

How can one tell the difference between cold purpling and P def or senescent purpling?

There are some plants that will turn nearly black in response to cold fall temps.

Hopefully he'll drop in again and throw his :2cents: in.

Apply some foliar P. That works in the cold weather. If the purple goes away or the fading slows down, you know it was a P issue and can think forward how you will make sure you have enough P to be able to push all that K you are planning to add.

Important to have enough space to fertilize...
