The full season plants (Black Lime Reserve & Cocoon) have 2-3 weeks to go. The GG4 and current round in the greenhouse all went out much later in the season after my first greenhouse round that I light depped came down. They will probably run into the 2nd week of November so we'll see. The challenge will be keeping them happy and not molding up as I have to shut the windows to keep the temps up at night. We'll see.

whats your nighttime vpd like in there? what about hooking up a inline to exhaust(w/humidity controller)?

That's what the flexline line in this picture is.

picture.php

I have it wired to the top of the greenhouse with only a mesh screen "sock" on the intake to make sure no bugs make it into the fan. The fan itself has an inline controller on it but I almost exclusively used the fan on the greenhouse when I was light depping it and had the tarp on at night. It didn't work that well as my "Daywreckers" got eaten up pretty bad with mold, the OGKB 2.0 had several spots, and the rest of the girls had either no problems or one or two spots (Sour Kush with nothing and GG4 with just one or two spots). I've since partially rolled up the front and back door to the greenhouse and kept them open with one of the quick grip thingies to promote cross breeze through the whole house, and on ground level as well. I always have all 4 windows open but there are obviously dead spots in there. I figured as harvest approached I would throw a box fan in there to just eliminate dead zones and also turn on the inline fan to exhaust the air from up top.

The problem that I see happening is the colder nights which will require having to close the windows and doors and throwing a tiny heater in there to just make sure they make it through the night without getting below 32.

I thought about picking up a used dehumidifier but I don't know if I want to go to the trouble of picking up something that I will only need for 2-3 weeks and then likely never have a use for it again. :dunno:

Forgot to mention, I don't know what the nighttime temps and humidity are in there. I have some gauges floating around that need batteries. I need to get one in there to hang from the ceiling and also some yellow sticky traps to get some bugs that are making their way in there. *Note to self* :)

right on WDI. my 70pint dehumis took a shit on me after my mini installation so i replaced it with a 30pint model. think that may have been a mistake and should have done a 50pint at least instead.... :( i haven't had to run my humi yet so i haven't hooked it back up....

today i'm going to read my mini manual and set day/night temps!!!! yippeee the things that excite grown men... just been running it at 75F in the lung room and that yields min max temps of 72-79F min/max and 72-77%RH min/max. got a lot of vegetation growing right now though that is in effect buffering that RH

trying to get my environment tightened up now that I can finally do CEA

everything sounds right expect "a box fan"

id hang at least 4-6 of them in that size of spot. high and low.

but Ive never grown cannabis in a greenhouse before so dont take my word! lol

lookin a1 regardless though, keep it up amigo.

was wondering if the mold could be coming through the sock?

The greenhouse is only 6x8, I can't imagine that it would need that many fans, nor would they be able to fit anywhere like that. The tallest part of the roof pitch is 7' I think? I could have been clearer on the intake sock I mentioned. It covers the intake side of the fan itself so it is only pulling ambient air from the top of the greenhouse and exausting it out via the flex duct. The only air coming in comes in naturally via the windows and bottom 8 or so inches from underneath the rolled up doors.

Weather is looking good after Thursday rain wise. I could take the Cocoon sooner than the BLR, but taking the BLR before two more weeks would be a crime. Holding out on pressing the chop button.

2.0 is so dense that I would keep eyes peeled for mold. How is/did the "Daywrecker"s hold up?

Nice Chunky and Hatchbrew

I had had several mold spots on mine from this past light dep summer run but I think it boiled down to inadequate airflow. I'm going to focus on that this time to ensure the fuckpile of flavors I have in there doesn't turn south. :2cents:

I've been giving my outdoor plants a shake in the morning.

I saw one wisp of something that looked like mold on one of them. Now I'm keeping an eagle eye on that one and even set a big oscillating fan on it, 24/7, to help keep it dry.

Yeah I need to get an oscillating fan in there just to stir the air around. Tonight it will be a heater though.

Tonight to ward off the colder temps I think I'm going to lay containers full of hot water on the base of the plants and cover with a tarp til tomorrow to get them through the frost tonight. Anybody have experience doing this?

That kinda reminds me of heating up dry rocks in a camp fire then burying them under your tent for overnight camping warmth. Never actually tried it but I hear it's the bee's knees
