Music flows through my veins, I live and breath music some artiste:
<3 Bob Marley and the wailers, akala, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holliday, Miles Davis, Aretha Franklin, Louis Armstrong <3
That is a few of my all time favourites,
I am just a old soul...
I don't listen to music often, never did really. Sometimes feel like I'm missing something because everyone else seems to get so much out of it. I've driven coast to coast several times with almost no music on the stereo, I'm a freak I guess.
I like a few artists, my favorite would have to be Neil Young, and it goes to another level when he is playing with Crazy Horse.
Jammin' with the big homie Rick Ross, old s kool 80s Til Tuesday, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, T.I, B.O.B feat Lil Wayne Strange Clouds. Good variety to smoke to!!
no offence intended, they are just fake losers,, you can find better more enlightening stuff than that to fill your head with brother. those guys sold their souls a long time ago, if they ever had one,, rick ross was a prison officer and lil wayne well the less said about that little freak the better.. just my opinion.
I'm pretty much into the late 70's early 80's punk hardcore. Some new stuff that has the same structure. Seen Off! Twice this year. Also going around finding the original release albums has increased my interest. It was a very short lived era perhaps a little ahead of its time, well at least mine. Bad brains self titled may be the most influential of them all. Misfits static age good also. Ive slowly valued this authentic styles much more than musical tallent.
Johnny Cash doing Trent Reznors "hurt" & Willie & Merles "Pancho & Lefty" hit me where it hurts. if you can watch Johnny in that video & not tear up, you aint got no soul...
started with: alternative, pop, hip hop and r&b, rock, rap, screamo/ metalcore, soft rock, techno, electro, hard rock/ classic metal, metal, dubstep, progressive rock...blah blah...
I too have driven a few people crazy
concluded with faves:
yoshimi battles the pink robots,
my beautiful dark twisted fantasies,
the soul tape 3,
and ambient/ psychill mixes for introspection or hiking
