In the end dickhead will claim he single handedly fixed everything.
The great “wartime” president who didn't even acknowledge the enemy was within our borders for over two months.
We need leadership not a douchey con artist.

That's why I am taking LDM-100. Lomatium root tincture.

It's why I'm cooking red onion right now while my hamburger is cooking.

in one of the videos about how zinc gets to the cells that fight the C-virus, somebody said something about red onions.

too many details to keep track of. it may not make any health difference.

The C-virus changes a lot of things. e.g. cat adoptions & animal adoptions. animals can be expected to contract whatever C-Virus their keepers have.

Indeed, keep eating those red onions. I steam half of one every night with my other vegetables. Standard for me.

Pharmicist said something about being out of zinc the other day. I was asking if they had the malaria stuff, and they do, but can't get more right now. Damn dentist got shut down by the .guv

I think this WuFlu, and it appears it has been around since maybe November in some form, is a distraction from the banking system being bailed out again. It is collapsing under the debt.

So here is pelosi making hay while the crisis shines:

Pass it and see what in it, again.

https://www.cnn.com/2020/03/23/asia/hong-kong-coronavirus-quarantine-intl-hnk/index.html

interesting article about Hong Kong.

they experienced a resurgence of cases after relaxing quarantines.

The implications of that are not pleasant, because it implies that it is wise to keep the quarantines - if you live in a STUPID country like the not-so-United States of A.

Singapore controlled it with thorough testing. Didn't close schools, had a minority of cases. Side-stepping the subject of their harassing drug laws.

The US is not going to implement widespread testing in 2020, at least there are no signs of that happening.

Overall the effect of the virus is not pleasant but something that societies have experienced hundreds or thousands of times in varying degrees - old people dying in significant quantities because of a significant disease.

Having 1/2 or 1/3 of your old people die in one year is not pleasant for a society but it has happened so many times in human history, well it's good to be honest about it and to "worry accurately".

Old people that might have lived another 5 or 10 years, are extremely threatened by this disease.

I don't think the society is threatened unless it is as mis-managed as the US.

If this stays for a year or so the society as we know it might be treatened.
Another thing i see is the big gap between deaths in spain and italy compared to germany. What's going up there?

Could have something to do with testing maybe?
Such as, maybe Germany is testing anyone with symptoms vs Italy and Spain only testing people with severe symptoms?

I have no clue, just a guess.

If we get adequate testing, then we can talk about getting back to normal. First things first.

Two things about Germany:
They have a decent healthcare system and they have done way more testing than anyone else so their numbers are high early in the development and it looks like what they're doing works better.
More overall tests mean more overall infected found and that means the ratio of deaths is overall smaller.

What you saying seems to be bang on, but I feel the difference is way too big to be ONLY abou that. Maybe they have some kind of experimental treatment as well?

No I don't think so... it's just a good healthcare system and that includes around 40k intensive care beds with ventilators etc...
Although half of them are already occupied by people severly sick with other things than corona.
20k intensive care beds is still quite good, let's hope it's sufficient.

I'm stranded in southern Germany right now so getting first hand info. Keeping fingers crossed for everyone globally affected by this pandemic and everybody should grow more weed asap, it is needed everywhere to deal with the quarantine and prices are rising (better give it away for free to friends and family).

We’d rather pay for bailouts for the airlines than support healthcare for the pizza eaters. Rather support our right to assembly than our right to live.

According to the numbers I read this morning, the per capita rates of both infection and deaths are over twice as high in the US compared to Canada.
It's not great up here, but it looks like a lot of people south of the Medicine Line are going to suffer even more.

It also just struck me how the meaning of that phrase has changed in the last 2 weeks.
