Yes, cannabis changed my life: It has given me a push to think outside the box, it has helped me to broaden my view of the world. Cannabis is not just a high, it is more of a way to relax, to introspect and understand yourself and others better. I believe that cannabis has helped me to realize an open mind and to welcome others with sincere neutrality. For me, cannabis is a moment of meditation in the middle of the chaos of life.

Actually I was looking for Tomato seeds on the internet and found a Dutch website with cannabis seeds and thought: not bad either!

Studied agriculture to understand the plant and growing. Turned my whole life around.

What got you to try cannabis for the first time?

Honestly, it was a required "Drug Awareness" class in high school. There was a giggly group sitting behind me in that class, that really got me thinking- Is Officer Friendly up on the stage REALLY giving me the straight scoop on D-R-U-G-S?

I didn't have any older siblings, so I started asking people if they could hook me up with a nickel bag. That got a lot of laughs. When I finally did smoke some weed, I didn't even get a tingle of a buzz until the 3rd time. And I was a cig smoker back then so I DID know how to inhale!

But when the first high hit me, I was in love. And I already loved music, but I had never swum in the river of music, if you know what I mean! Wow, thank God and the Universe for the Sweet Leaf! And thanks for making it so easy to grow!

Q: How do you choose the right cannabis products for your needs?

A: Smell it, then smoke it.

Taste wise I can go for almost anything that’s been grown & handled properly, so the smell is only a first indicator.
Of course I have my favorites and also things I don’t like that much.

Effect wise, which is more important as a heavy smoker, I like to evaluate something new with the first smoke of the day.

How do you choose the right cannabis products for your needs?

It has to ease my ailments. All weed gets me high but I choose what eliminates other problems for me. Terps are a huge if not the main component in this decision for me. I could care less about the thc content but rather the terps really make the decision for me.

What got you to try cannabis for the first time?

I like to say I got 3 first times.
1. 14yo and my friend had access. We just wanted to see what the big deal was. So, he got the bud and I got the papers. Didnt really notice anything.

2. 16yo. Same friend popped up after HS. He dropped out due to famoly issues, was selling now. He asked if I wanted to smoke. Sure.

3. 23yo. Downsized from my job. Hangin out at a friend's spot. He always offered and I always said nah, not for me. This time, he didnt get a chance to offer. I said pass that.

It's been a wrap ever since. Started collecting seeds a year later. Started trying to grow in 05. Got it done in 07 after finding ICMag. I'm 45 now.
