What'll we be judging?

hey DG anyway of giving us a general feel for how many entries were lookn at... or atleast a less than more than or equal to last year.

but i do agree with the blind judging part

I have to respectfully disagree with you on the list, DG. An alphabetical list by grower or category can be made. All the entries can still be given what ever random numbering system you use. But I'm just along for the ride. Are the samples divided into categories? If so how, by strain, breeder, etc.? Excuse the ignorance but I wasn't at the first one and I would like to know what to expect.

hey shopvac...no way of knowing for sure until the 13th of April (deadline). But i'd be inclined to say there will be many many entries....judges get ready for some heavy duty toking! :biglaugh:

Smokin'....you're entitled to disagree....LOL...no worries, but there will be no list posted. Entries will be divided into Breeder/Seed Co entries and Independent Grower entries. So....in other words, breeders will not be judged along side independent entries...they will each be in their own category.

Even if I didn't post about the potential ECSD entry,it would be unmistakable to many, even in 1/2g baggies.
It's the schiznit, and if the mail system doesn't f*** up again this year, then the IC420 judges will definately be seeing us in the Breeder's Cup.

Ciao!

hmm...that might not be a great idea to post that info out in the open where our enemies might learn something. :joint: I'd say research some of the common ways of smellproofing for sending herb in the mail, and add your own twist. There's plenty of methods to use, but the main thing you want to do is seal off the herb well enough that there is no air exchange with the rest of the package. And be sure that there is no residue on the outside of the package. Did you read the first icmag with Gypsy in morocco? They sealed the blocks of hash by wrapping in plastic wrap and then dipping in was until the block was nicely coated and sealed.

Or maybe someone is gonna pm you the exact instructions to how to drop it in the mailbox :chin:

Made the deadline!

Made the deadline!

As independent grower I've entered some nice little Sage 'n Sour nuggets for the Sativa Cup... all sugar coated... and that stench!... real sickening!!! The smoke is great... though not even cured yet... I cut the stems only last week... and just met the deadline to enter the cup today...

It was a rainy afternoon so I took the tram to the city center... took a few hits while waiting... killed the joint with some rain drops and stuck it behind my ear... not a minute after I sat down people started to look at me... no trip... really staring... untill finally one asked me to put off that joint??!... it was out... otherwise I'd be burning my head... so what to do with it, I asked back... I understand I can't smoke in public transport... but I don't mean to and smoking needs fire and mine is not burning...

So for all you judges to enjoy... but please use it with consideration... the fresh smell is offending to no-weed-smokers... fella believas can trust their nose to seek out this purple Sage 'n Sour...
