Absinthe....is unlike any other alcohol-based apertif.
It's undescribable,definately best experienced personally.
A good 'gray market' litre bottle will set you back an EASY $200USD,
but I'd reccy' it to anyone,any time.
Hill's is very,very good,OldSchool,family-made Czech fairy water,two preparations of it before a few toddies at the local pub,and some music,and,well....it leads to all sorts of good,clean fun-ness

Hi Rez....I was raised on that ECSD. I was born and raised where that ECSD became famous NY. And I have to tell you....PLEASE no one take this wrong ECSD will bring home the prize it is simply that SPECIAL!!!!! Will you just enter the ECSD clone or will you try one of your backcrosses seed phenos? Any way no one will have a chance but best of luck to everyone.

Most of the sativa's were excellent...but that smell gives it away every time....so I tried judging with my nose plugged but the taste was a give-a-way.....
So I finally gave in and accepted the inevitable!

Kudos to all the growers/breeders..... but the Sativa growers especially the ones working with the SD (but all).....Take a deep breath and feel the respect! I wish I had more time, a morning for each "finalist".... They were that close.....

Now matter who else wins, I won just experiencing the intimate cup at its best....

Not to compare but the best I could would be emeries Tokers Bowl (in 2000 it was still the Cannabis Culture Cannabis Cup) yet this was infineatly better, the quantity and quality of ganja HERE makes the difference.... Reminds me a tiny bit of the 2001 HTCC but again, so much better....

So in short, I don't know what Gypsy's goal is but I truly hope he got there, and I hope that it continues and grows but at the same time stays intimate. Just soaking in the vibe of the dedicated people was a boost, as oppossed to the crash new york corporate mentality of the "other" cup......

It was the 1st cup in a long time I actually enjoyed! And for that, as I said, I won!

Now....Gotta head out and see how many different SDx there were and how many took something!

p.s. Yes, I concur, BIG UP to Adam from A'dam of THSeeds, who did INDEED say, Sour Diesel could fill a void here!! Not to show anybody up or to imply anything or impugn anyone but when you base your strain on 5 seeds someone gave you from the greatest pot you ever smoked (a GREAT strain in its OWN RIGHT no doubt) or you get the best ECSD phenotype you can use... WHO's strain is going to be more ECSD.....

Again, to those who DON'T know what Im saying, Im just rambling, but to those who do, I am making a POINT -NOT- a judgement call!!!! I got enough love for ALL (Well most ) breeders! Especially the man in question who it doesnt matter where he is, he gets his medicine! Very Cool Story!

Another very,VERY picky smoker told me lat night that "ECSD knocked them sillier than anything in recent memory"
That's what makes me so sure it'll do well:unilateral love for the ECSD. :smile:
Jimmy and Smokey both entered ECSD in the Grower's cup,as well....
So,it looks like we have a shot at doing well on both sides of the Cup,in the sativa-dominant category.
I've tried,for almost two decades,to smoke the world's finest herb,and though it's an ongoing Project,I believe it's safe to say that ECSD easily stands with anything that Amsterdam has to offer,and most often surpasses it.
It's going to be interesting,I love a good contest!
