To many hash capsules for breakfast and I got lost in this again. There, it doesn't want a direct link for some reason. Hit play, when it starts hit the castle in the upper right then choose #7 on the list or...

So began yet another day in Hotel Calamity... me phoning home to ask my wife to open up the credit card account to see where the erroneous charges from earlier in the week are at.

Lo and behold...., three of the four erroneous charges that were 'pending as of yesterday are now confirmed charges.

Phoned the same person at the hotel desk I spoke with yesterday morning about this, and she gave numerous, mostly implausible, explanations, including the routine, "sometimes it can take 3 to 5 business days for charges to be settled or reversed." I mentioned the miracle of modern financial technology, wherein it takes about 10 seconds or so to remove the money from my account, but 3-5 days to return it. Asked in a cheeky manner which side of the economic stratification street dreamt that particular inequity up as a matter of economic procedure?

SO I'll see if they straighten it out, after which I was invited to file a dispute.

Why is it that serfdom America (world) ends up having to grab the proverbial mop when corporate America steps in shit?

Had some marginal sausage patties with keto french toast for breakfast, made with eggs, a bit of powdered milk, and a splash or so of 40% whipping cream with a touch of salt, and minimal butter and organic maple syrup.

You know what they call that liquid you dip your French toast in? When there's left-overs, we call those scrambled eggs.

Out in the bush, this would be a DELUXE breakfast. In the hotel it's basic sustenance in order to survive interactions with those who can't hear, think, or use a basic calculator, thus posing a serious threat to the functioning of everyday society. So now my belly's well-armed.

Bring it on!! Though my homemade sugar-free mocha with French Roast coffee and Mexican Espresso added might leave me a bit ... edgy. Probably not good in these circumstances.

Also got my PAX 3 out last night, normally reserved for hospital hotel settings, so it had been at least a couple years since I'd used it.

Couldn't recall all of the start-up procedures and activation. For a moment or three, my PAX was smarter than I am. Then I flipped the circumstances on it and won.. this morning,... at about 6:00 A.M.

Then I went back to bed...

hang in there brother
i hear you about how the finance industry works, when its time for you to pay them they take the money right away but if you have a dispute it can take a couple of days for the chargers to be reversed
if you used a cc, at least its the credit cards money right now
if it comes down to it call them and explain the situation, you have the documentation and are in the right
hahaha when i would travel for business they used to put us up in this place called hampton in or the courtyard by marriott! those places had some pretty decent breakfast spreads and i would often load up on breakfast foods and take some back to the room with me
/i can eat breakfast foods any time of day
thats called hamptonality
plus i had a per diem so it was extra food money for the other meals
they used to let things slide! like my drink orders at dinner
this all came to a screeching halt when one of my coworkers got passed out drunk in nyc and ended up sleeping in the hallway of the hotel
nice move on the pax, when life hands you lemons take a hit or two
get well soon!

3rd radiation visit is done. 2 more to go. So far so good. When back in the Interior of the State, I'll do another pricey MRI to see if the tumor properly disliked the radiation by shriveling some or reducing in size. Probably a follow-up PSA draw in a while, too. See if we knocked down its signal.
