I am amazed at what some people are charged for power! 5.3-9 cents depending on time of day here.

EDIT: did the calculations. going by the current summer time-of-use chart i pay 32.62 a month to run 2x600w and 1x250. That does not factor in pumps and stuff for my hydro equipment or carbon scrubbers, just the lights

I pay .10/ KWH and my bill freaks me out sometimes....225-300 a month...but I've seen 400 dollars bills, but that is very rare, only once actually.....but I also have a wife that stays at home with the kid, and she has never heard of conserving power, IE: turning lights off when you leave rooms, or turning the TV off when your not watching it.....She has ATLEASt 2 TV's, a radio/cd player and alot of lights on 24/7....Plus the AC set on 68 24/7 , then all my hobby shit, lights, fans, more fans and more lights...plus all the other shit thats on in a normal house.....

After reading this thread, I really dont feel that bad anymore...225-300 is not that bad.....and i run my 12/12 room at night too....I guess that helps...

If you're not on CARE you are screwing yourself. $1500 discount last month on my 6k grow. If you can get commercial pricing its even less.

Also check out the Time of Use meter. Thatll knockoff an additional 15% per year.

4 - 600w lights, 3 - 6inch fans, 1 - 8 inch fan, 4 pumps, 1 air pump, 2 oscilating fans. this costs me £35 a week. which isn't that bad.
