Jupitor ascending.absulutly great hidden gem.sci fy fanes will love it.very wierd but good flick
sort of a space-age fairy tale.
from The Matrix directors.
lots of eye-candy.

watching Captive State (2019).
the resistance vs the collaborator-government
(e.g., vichy) during an alien occupation, that’s
gone on for a decade. more tinker tailor than
independence day. unique alien tech/design when
it does appear. w/ john goodman in serious mode.
from the director of the Apes reboot, Rise, in 2011.

got leviathan in my queue at the local library. looking forward to checking it out.
russia is no stranger to great cinema.

watching a couple of movies based on real life characters/events, both starring the late Richard Farnsworth-
The Grey Fox (1982). the great canadian (north)western, and winner of many genie awards.
kino lorber released a gorgeous restoration last year, with new interviews and
guest commentary by film director/scholar, alex cox (repoMan, sid&nancy).
itunes has the hd version on sale for $4.99 at the moment,
but it’s missing the additional features/commentary found on the blu ray/dvd.

and the “riding lawnmower epic”, The Straight Story (1999).
