Ha ha, one thing is true, I am a fishhead/Fischkopp! I thought NORDSEE is everywhere? My hometown was europes biggest fishhabour in the 50s and 60s. If the wind came from southwest the whole southern part of the city was stinking like fish.

And once again WOW!

In a hour, we have steak, baked beans and fried eggs.

Some fish pictures, and one picture from a korean restaurant.

Dann wäre meine Heimatstadt mal was für dich! Frischen Fisch gibt es hier ohne Ende.

Before some days i saw an old picture with Mick Jones, he had baked beans on toast. :)
It's a cheap snack/meal - cheapest tin of beans is around 25 pence - two slices of bread and a bit of butter - maybe 25 pence also - 2 minutes in the toaster with the bread - 2 minutes in the microwave with the beans and - 'Bob's Ya Blinker's!' - viola - you have a meal for about 65 pence - or so -
Haricot beans are a 2nd class protein - plenty of carbs in the bread - and fat in the butter -

- most working/lower class families in the UK grew up on quick and cheap convenience foods such as beans on toast - Jonsey lived in a council flat - same as many of us - and had to find and eat cheap but nutritious foods - and back then we were bombarded with bean advertising - BEANZ - MEANZ - HEINZ! - etc
