there's a few thread going on about that subject:
What year were you born?
Just How "Old" Are You?
You can't leave it like that. Whut kinda plane? I was on the "tense edge" of buying a Piper Warrior for $23K. If I coulda figured out how to afford hangaring, I'da plunged... But you just cannot leave a plane out in the Floriduh sun on the ramp. (Even though you see them all the time out in the direct sun at airplane patches.)I was this close to us getting a plane Unc,!
startin again
Good to see you!
The problem I have with Tesla, not getting into what an environmental nightmare the batteries are, IS the batteries. Rechargeable batteries should have gone away 50 years ago. That is old worn out technology. While Tesla did use Tesla's (the scientist) idea as to the motor, Teslas idea was that it would also be self powered, not rechargable. All his work "disappeared" just like the guy with the car that ran on water. Well, really hydrogen, it broke down the H2O and burned the hydrogen. He disappeared never to be heard from again.OMG, say what you will, we love our Tesla. Doesn't leak all over the garage floor, costs about two bux to get to the big city and back, verses old gas guzzlers, even though we were big on getting low milage vehicles. It works, even in the coldest part of the coldest of the 48. Don't need to gas up in the cold, which is a biggie for my fibro. Heats up in an instant, way faster than gas... Biggest drawback is tire wear. Even though we are a HUGE petroleum state, i'm surrounded by wind farms, so ain't got no worries! We would put up a solar farm, if the state and companies would just co-operate a bit and make it worthwhile. My fam has been in the oil field for decades, believe me, i've done a ton of 'invert riggers' wash that left me with no love of the Cannabis strains featuring 'gas'. AND, we can leave them in the dust...quietly. My younger years were fun with the muscle cars, Mustangs, AMX, Gran Torino, etc. Happily traded the gas concept for electric.
and...i'm pretty independent, as far as 'groups' go.
Not quite as seasoned as Unca Walt, but not THAT far behind. Beat mice self up a bunch with cars and horses, so body age is probably ahead of annuals.
thank you !welcome here all Misfits!

I remember that. I put my engineer hat on at the time, and I could not see how he could get a net plus in energy because of the tight bonds betwixt the O's and H2's.All his work "disappeared" just like the guy with the car that ran on water. Well, really hydrogen, it broke down the H2O and burned the hydrogen. He disappeared never to be heard from again.
Did Daddy ask how the cows grow up big and strong? An update quote:
"Daddy, that is spot on. Red meat has everything a human needs to survive. We are made of red meat, so it has everything our bods need."
I din' know that before. None of youse better get locked in a cabin inna wilderness with Himself. I give no guarantees.
me too with horseradish mayo and good pepper,I'd love a cheese sandwich
The budget is kinda low now for that plane. We didn’t make much in BINGO. That’s always been a secret but I’m letting the cat outta the bag now. More members here tho maybe we can start bingo again. You can't leave it like that. Whut kinda plane? I was on the "tense edge" of buying a Piper Warrior for $23K. He figured it out enough to drive it, and just as the idea was going to roll, where's Waldo happened. Never another wordI remember that. I put my engineer hat on at the time, and I could not see how he could get a net plus in energy because of the tight bonds betwixt the O's and H2's.
That is not to say it cannot be done... but it could not be done with my elektrikal background (EE) knowledge:
How can you split water into ions so you can put the ions back together and get a net plus energy??? On the surface of it, that ain't even cheatin' fair.
So maybe the guy did have something. One thing for sure, what he was doing, if he was doing it... was the equivalent of cold fusion.
two dreams Subbiness! The budget is kinda low now for that plane. We didn’t make much in BINGO. That’s always been a secret but I’m letting the cat outta the bag now. More members here tho maybe we can start bingo again.
It is my biddingtwo dreams Subbiness!
One, to find you,,
two ,to boldly go where there is no bingo ,and make it so.
Met a guy in college that got his patent bought out. Part of the deal was that he could not patent or invent anything in that field ever again. So, he was back in college learning new stuff. He figured it out enough to drive it, and just as the idea was going to roll, where's Waldo happened. Never another word
