A carton of name brand cigarettes are $85 to 90 a carton.at the Indian reservation.
$12 is around where I live .In the city it must be $14 by now.
I thank God thats never a concern anymore.

My Buddy Stash remembers in Nassau co a cig machine giving you a pack of smokes for 50 cents and give back a penny in the pack.
Sure a bar machine.
Did you have to wrastle your boys for the last brownie?

same with alcohol , got so sick as a kid , downed 8 ounces of Canadian club when I was in the 7th grade and it almost killed me…that did it for me

now lsd was another story , but of course lsd is armless

Useta be, I could buy a carton of Winstons for $1.98 <-- TINS

It wuz the military that got me smoking. They gave you a pack of 4 Winstons in every C-rat. ONE PACK of cigarettes in NYC is now an unbelievable $11.96 <-- That's 60c apiece!

So a carton is now essentially $24

I quit when I got out and found the price was so high it was a perfect deterrent to smoking.

I thank the Lord alcohol is not an issue at all.
Water is my choice and when Im on the town a imported bottle of spring water with bubbles.
Those bubbles are different from the bubbles you get in the bath

it appears I am allergic to tobacco

here is what happened…..my older sister and her Mexican husband came over to my mom and dads for a visit

sis decided to make greasy tacos and I stuffed myself

my older brother found a pack of Benson and Hedges in my older brothers car and he stole them , all while we were eating tacos

we had an underground fort in the back 5 acres which was covered with a 4x8 sheet of plywood and dirt and had a secret hatch

after eating tacos m me and older brother went to the fort with the cigs , closed the hatch , lit some candles and commenced to smoking

when the candles began to go out , we decided it was best to get out of the fort

as soon as I took a big breath of fresh air , all those tacos decided to leave my belly

omg was I ever sick….for about 3 days…ever since the. , I was in the 6th grade , if I take a puff or two off a cig I will probably pass out , the smell of tobacco smoke makes me nauseous to this day

lucky me , my dad and two of my 5 brothers died from chronic copd and alcoholism

I paid $3.15 for my first carton of smokes. I was gonna quit when a pack went to $.50 cents. When I finally did quit in '04, they were $2.25/pack or about $20/carton.
I was behind a lady at the store the other day who got two cartons, and it was right around $100.00.

I am trying to expand my wings a bit and fit in with the locals. Lots of good people to mingle with on here.

I am at peace.... didn't realize how much drama I had to put up with before .....happy doing my thing......
