Just a small gathering at my house. We will be watching football and discussing fishing trips not taken yet. Planning on 3 major trips next season along with all the one day outings.

Funny, he just ask me… Are you gonna wear that? I hadn’t really thought about it but now maybe I should have doozied up a bit more than my leggings and ukulele t shirt . I’m glad he lets it be known lightly that I might have a little reefer in my teeth. I’ve now changed into respectabl but still fun clothes.

I like a shot of bourbon or a good cold beer. I do wish I'd never started smoking cigarettes, though. But everyone in my family smoked, and there were still ciggie commercials on TV at the time. I was smoking in the house in front of my folks at age 14 - they'd go to jail for that nowadays.

Useta be, I could buy a carton of Winstons for $1.98 <-- TINS

It wuz the military that got me smoking. They gave you a pack of 4 Winstons in every C-rat. ONE PACK of cigarettes in NYC is now an unbelievable $11.96 <-- That's 60c apiece!

So a carton is now essentially $24

I quit when I got out and found the price was so high it was a perfect deterrent to smoking.

A carton of name brand cigarettes are $85 to 90 a carton.at the Indian reservation.
$12 is around where I live .In the city it must be $14 by now.
I thank God thats never a concern anymore.
