I'mback
Comfortably numb!
... as I However, as I have stated elsewhere, I don't change things willy nilly. One step at a time... If you are changing a multitude of things, every grow, you (sorry) haven't really learned anything because, with all those variables, you cannot ascertain what caused what reaction etc... I'm not saying don't rectify shortcomings during the grow. I am saying, change one thing (lesson learned) on the next grow. I have short term memory loss since the GW. I noticed in your opening post that your mix contained 40% clay. That is excessive! I don't remember if this has been rectified as I don't intend to revisit the entire thread.thanks man there is a lot of information!
actually i understand now why i fail so much. i usually change strains between all every round. i have changed pots from normal plastic to underwater pots to fabric pots and different sizes too. my setup have changed almost everytime because i havent found that optimal for me.
but in this time i should have learned about plants actions and reactions. i must notice difference between under- and overwatering. i should see nitrogen toxiticy or defience. but i dont haha. okay something i know but always i get to new troubles when i grow haha.
# sorry my english - so baked and so tired and eating at the same time ^__^
Until you get the feel for "pot weight" use a soil moisture meter to assist you in knowing when to water/feed your plants. When in doubt, check it out. For some reason I always have 1 girl (out of 4) who doesn't drink as much. I water/feed my plants WDDFDDW (water, dry, feed) every three days. I water/feed @ 1.5l every 3 days. For the girl that is not as thirsty, I give her 1.25l per session, until she tags along. Sometimes I can get her back on schedule, sometimes I finish the run with the reduced watering/feeding. Hope this helps
