Adults are capable of making their own risk assessments...
I honestly never thought I was going to have to explain the necessity of consent to left leaning people..but here we are.
Consent either matters in all things or it doesn’t matter.

And btw, losing family members is inevitable.
Everyone’s dies unfortunately.
You can’t protect people from death, although it has become popular to pretend we can.

The numbers tell the true story of how effective (not at all) ur precious lockdowns and mask mandates are.
So if u ever want to step out of ur bubble and look at some data I would encourage that.
I know you want to do the right thing for the most people even if it goes against your preconceived notions.

Rome started it's decline when they merged the "emperor" and "pope" into one role. The "holy roman emperor". Then Rome was divided into two sections with two holy roman emperor's ruling over each section. It was the rejection of science and the belief in Merlin types that led to Rome's slow decline over a few centuries.

Kind of reminds me how we went from having a representative government to one where the executive branch (of state govt and soon to be federal under Biden’s leadership
arbitrarily dictates where you can go, with whom, What u must wear on ur face. where you can work, if you can work, how and If ur children are educated etc.... all in spite of data that strongly suggests all of these interventions are harmful in a myriad of ways and not effective at all in mitigating viral spread.
But do go on about how it’s anti science to be against mask mandates and arbitrary govt lockdowns

But some will refuse , and it only works to slow the spread if everyone wears them in crowded places- so we end up with laws.
If governments invested a fraction of their military budgets in healthcare, the hospitals would be able to cope and there’d be no need for so many precautions
But here we are.

Stanford, Harvard, Yale, Columbia all has professors who are actively engaged in trying to show to public how little mask mandates and lockdowns work to mitigate viral spread,
