Who in America is forced to work for no money and has no choice in doing so?
the bulk of the American workforce lol. if you don't work, you die.

my previous post was mainly hypothetical though. like if i started a brand new country tomorrow and said it was going to be capitalist, but instead sold half of the population into slavery, it wouldn't be considered capitalist by most people. so why would countries who are basically communist or socialist in name only or for a brief period of time before transitioning for example, like China has, be an example of communism? there is nothing leftist or communist about them.

Talked with a friend in Pakistan.

who is in the food export/import business.

They all have Ivermectin for Covid19. The Pakistan official death rate from Covid19 is 37 per million.

vs. the US with 905 and climbing.

So basically you don't want to work and you want the government to support you? In my eyes that is being a slave to the government. People have been working to survive for 100,000 years starting with hunting and gathering.

Then the capitalists built armies and took the land. They came to America and slaughtered the Buffalo. Put the natives on reservations and brought in enslaved people. Worked the children in sweat shops. The government has always been there to back them up. If the people want returns, only then are they slaves?

i gave you two answers there bud and you chose to run with the more reactionary response.

"Who in America is forced to work for no money"
most Americans. half of US workers make $34,200 according the Government Wage Statistics for 2019 (https://www.ssa.gov/cgi-bin/netcomp.cgi?year=2019) which is barely enough to live on.

and has no choice in doing so?"

if you don't work you will die. aka at least half of our working population has no choice but work to not be paid enough to live on.

also you might want to do some research into primitive hunter-gathering societies. the labor of these primitive societies wasnt divided, they didn't have wages or a currency, it was communal in nature. they are called "gift" economies and are part of a lot of classical communist thought lol.

I make roughly 34k a year, love my job, pay my bills, own my own home with a few acres. I'm far from rich but you can definitely live a decent life making $1500 every two weeks. Here is what I'm working on now.

the number is meaningless without context

I will say, that I only red the last couple of posts but I love whats being discussed here!

Question is - would you still work if you didn't have to? The answer for a lot of people would be - yes, because they love what they do. We need at meaning to our loves and doing or jobs well are that meaning to some of the people.

Well structure socialist system is way better for people than capitalism that we are currently living.

Imagine a family, with two kids, both parents working, to support their kids. The kids see both parents relatively little, they stay for after-school classes until one of the parents finishes work and gets them from school. For the majority of the population this will be mum.
Mum is tired from dealing with work stuff, she goes home with the kids, makes dinner, kids do they homework. Mum is too tired to help them to do help with the homework in case kids need it and she also is focusing her last energy to finish that dinner cooking. Dad comes home, also tired, wants a moment to put his feet up. Not deal with kids straight away.
Say, mum works in customer service, dad in construction.
They both have to work to put roof over the head of the family and food on the table.

Now imagine - dad has an accident at work and mum is left alone with two kids. What do their family finances look like with one wage in customer service field?

What would it had been like if dad could have work and family would get supplemented wage so mum (or vice versa) could stay at home and have enough energy to fully support their kids emotionally.

I personally can see how the whole family could be happier and their life would be easier.

We are at the point were next major development in technology will make a lot of jobs redundant - what will happen with people who used to do these jobs?

Wouldn't it be really nice if you could work primarily because you want to, not because you must to survive?

Utopia, I know - it will never happen...

Some in our family used it and it's effective
Plus it's easily available in Pakistan and cheap price here"

Their Death per Million 37.

US Death per Million 860.

US Death per Million 891.

Australia - 35 ! ! ! Doing Great. :dancer:

This is the part where the US is last to the party.

I wonder if one of the states will break from the FCA/CDC/NIH bullshit and start recommending Ivermectin.

And if that will be part of the Trump/no Trump politics.

Biden FDA is slow to recommend Ivermectin, so Trump supporting states break from the Biden FDA.

Ultimately we are hunter gatherers preforming unnatural functions in the name of liberty. Seriously, WTF are we doing?
