i have learned a lot reading all your interesting facts here.
i think i have thought of a way to save the country some money. let's take all the people from the biomedical level 3 facilities who work with gain of function viruses and give them a cloth mask. then we can throw away all those fancy ppes they wear to protect them against viral infection in there. i'm telling you, we will save a lot of money this way. since fabric masks work, everyone will be safe and all viruses will go away. the end.

That’s just being purposely ignorant. Good clean masks work 60-80%. They are not the end all.

you're right, since widespread mask usage has taken over "the numbers" have dropped 60-80%. i don't see a person anymore not wearing a mask (well maybe a few per packed grocery store).
there is a place that really understands the virus. they know that the virus hates to be out during the day, so they issued a curfew. a curfew normally wouldn't make sense since this would force more people into the stores during the time they are open, ruining the idea of dilution as a solution. BUT!!!! the virus doesn't like to be out during the day so they are right.
i saw some kids out walking around trick or treating yesterday. it was rather cold and a little rainy, which didn't make sense at first... normally, people would keep their kids inside so they wouldn't catch the flu. however, according to the numbers the flu has pretty much gone away. AND the virus doesn't catch outdoors, SO according to what we've been told they are actually safer out there in the cold rain.

Question for growers ? Do you run a dead Rez? Or a living Healthy Rez?
What works better sterile soil, or one teeming with healthy microbes?
(Just wondering how Good of a thing it is to spray children/people down with disinfectant multiple times a day? )
I find trying to maintain a sterile grow tedious and difficult.
Much prefer to have bennies in the mix.
It’s super funny to have all these so called organic growers calling for disinfecting of everything (besides their soil)

No Not that I’ve seen. But spraying down school children with disinfecting Sprays is a real policy being implemented throughout the world at the moment.
Was just curious from a growers perspective what people thought of this concept/policy.
(After going back to look Microbeman just caught me doing a strawman fallacy.)
Although I (imagine) there are ic members who do agree with disinfecting school kids as part of a daily routine.. I didn’t bother to get any of them to say so.

It was done in other countries. also on all incoming flights. If you are an American and travel you might get hosed. I don't see the need for hosing us down. I already do that everyday when I shower. Id hope your making your kids take a bath/Shower daily. Everyone knows Masks saves lives(except those that don't care who dies)
im a strong believer in the power of beneficial bacteria for the human immune system. i stopped using hand sanitizer months back and went to regular soap hand washing and just not touching my face. i never wear a mask unless i'm forced by close proximity in closed spaces.
in the end i don't hold your opinions on covid against you, i'm often in 2 minds about the whole situation. but i decided better be safe then sorry, at least until more data is available, or the situation changes for the better.
i know for now i already know 3 people that got a positive diagnosis and one guy has been sick for a week straight at home who i suspect might be another case. so yeah its coming closer then ever and to me it's not the time to take chances.
