But if scientists wanna go play in the septic tank that’s on them

I would try to explain how proper science works if I thought for one second you actually gave a shit about anything based on facts.

The biggest super spreader event so far has been the sturgis (sp?) Motorcycle gathering. I don't know how the virus votes, but it hates maskless bikers lol.

From Kaiser Health:
Newsweek: South Dakota Governor Dismisses Sturgis Motorcycle Rally COVID-19 Outbreak As 'Fiction'
South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem has dismissed a report suggesting the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally was a "superspreading event" for COVID-19 that cost billions of dollars in health costs. Researchers from the Center for Health Economics and Policy Studies at San Diego State University in California claimed event, which attracted nearly 500,000 visitors, may have resulted in 266,796 new coronavirus cases—nearly 20 percent of the 1.4 million new cases of COVID-19 recorded in the U.S. between August 2 and September 2. (Palmer, 9/9)

Half of Trump’s rallies were followed by an increase in cases in the county

Public health experts have voiced concern that Trump’s rallies pose a risk not only to participants themselves but also to others in the communities in which they are held. Due to concerns about COVID-19, the Trump team suspended rallies in March. It then held two indoor rallies in June and again halted in-person events as the United States approached its second peak of COVID-19 cases. Trump resumed rallies in mid-August, appearing at multiple large events per week. In total, Trump held nearly two dozen rallies between June and September.

Attendees at rallies—including those held in Pennsylvania, Florida, and North Carolina—tend not wear masks or socially distance, even after Trump himself contracted the virus. In addition, the majority of these events have been in violation of local or state restrictions on gatherings to limit the spread of COVID-19. Most Trump rallies during the pandemic have been outdoors in airplane hangars, which may have helped mitigate transmission relative to indoor settings.

n several communities, public health officials have linked COVID-19 cases to Trump rally attendance. At least 26 individual cases have been linked to Trump rallies held between the months of June and September, according to various news reports. In many of these cases, officials were unable to determine whether the case acquired the infection at a rally or was already positive for COVID-19 when they attended the event.

In addition, some local public health authorities have pointed to Trump rallies as a reason for an increase in community spread. Compared to the county-level data on COVID-19, some events with confirmed rally-linked cases were not followed by a clear increase in case counts.

Russian bots are busy here this morning. Nothing useful or intelligent coming out of them as usual.

aren't you the one who posted about rounding people up for re educations camps when your guy wins? so i guess denouncing all disagreement as russian bots shouldn't surprise anyone. you have to dehumanize and demonize the opposition as traitors, otherwise you can't justify the round ups and camps.

his point being that it can be automated & help reduce the need to go be tested for individuals. you are not going to get results from the hospital RE asymptomatic carriers, which you need to know about to help prevent spreading. you could integrate detection systems in different parts of a community & spot spiking areas. all useful knowledge...

So to summarize..
1/2 the time after a trump rally cases in the county trended upwards
1/2 the time they didn’t.
Real smoking gun u got there (lol)

Y’all do realize that correlation does not = causation
Or do we need to start at the basics?

glad i was mistaken, lsd in the water maybe not, but a mandated trip or two in your late teens definitely. get that empathy activated in people.

Or cause a psychotic break.

I find the concept of dosing any water source with LSD terrifying. Completely and absolutely diabolical.
There is no humor in the idea whatsoever IMO.

There's a movie from the late 60's where they do put all people over a certain age, into camps and dose the water with LSD.

Oddly enough, I first saw it on late night tv whilst tripping on mescaline in my parents living room as my family slept.

A few of the songs from this movie got air play. One of which is titled:
"The shape of things to come".

Some of the oldsters here may remember it.

Saw an unusual mask at Grocery Outlet last week. Guy had a mask that only covered his nose, it looked like a bikini top for a doll that when worn sort of flattened out his nose to make kind of a pig nose. He had this paranoid look on his face like everyone was watching him, which was probably not that far off.
Was suggested to me it was an oxygen supply, but I don’t think it was because it was thin string on his cheeks like a mask and not the tubing I’ve seen in the past.
Was within ten feet of him, so, got a decent look.

UK are starting to use sniffer dogs to detect people with covid. No idea what their detection rate is though.
