Yes. That UK sub is a 30 year old design. It's replacement is being built already.
The US has the 50yo L.A Class nuclear subs. France, China and Russia have similar aged subs. The Taiwanese are using an 80 year old sub, though just for training now.
30 just isn't that old, when things are constantly being renewed and updated. The F16 is 50yo. The russians are fielding tanks from museums. Everything is relative. That 30yo sub can still level moscow, and that's all that matters.
