"US President-elect Donald Trump’s pick to be the next US ambassador to Israel said the incoming administration could support the annexation of the West Bank, though such a decision would be out of his hands.

Mike Huckabee, a politician and Evangelical Christian leader with a history of strong support for Israeli building in the West Bank, was named Tuesday as Trump’s nominee for the post, drawing plaudits from settlement leaders.

Speaking to Israel’s Army Radio Wednesday morning, Huckabee was asked whether annexation would be a possibility after Trump takes office in January."

“Well of course,” Huckabee answered. “I won’t make the policy, I will carry out the policy of the president.”
no policy difference from the dems. republicans just say it out loud.

so much for "protest votes" to try to help the Palestinians. "from the frying pan into the fire" is how the old saw goes... not only did it not help them, it enabled something far worse. when your choice is between the devil and the deep blue sea, i start swimming...

the policy literally isn't changed. the dems weren't going to stop this.

ultimately this is all about the US controlling the suez canal to ship oil and gas through the canal into the EU, bypassing Russian/Chinese/Whatever gas and oil as it accounted for 40% of the EU's energy prior to the Russia/Ukraine war of 2022.

Our protest votes against Biden/'Harris were cast fully knowing that Trump is who he is where Bibi is concerned. They're birds of a feather. Both craving an extension of their time in office to try to stall any possible prison terms.

Our protest votes were due to Biden and friends completely ignoring the ICC's ruling that Israel is a criminal state and continuing to send them arms and money despite it making the US further complicit to serial mass murder and war crimes.

Which is precisely why I stated that none of these extra-legal criminal heathen scumbags should ever again stump on 'respect for law and order' and expect anything other than contempt and ridicule. They violate the laws whenever they choose to.

I simply don't reward tantrum-throwing children... anywhere, anytime. And that's what these fucks are. And they lost an election in part because of that pomposity.

They're serial mass-murdering criminals and should be executed or imprisoned for life at the earliest opportunity, if there were any real justice in this world.

If any of them showed up at my door in -any- weather condition, I'd knock them on their ass and leave them there to freeze. Stiffer objects are easier to pick up to move and discard. And freezing helps to provide that desired rigid condition.

Not all of the MAGA folks suck up to Bibi the way the Trumpster and Biden/Harris do...

"Sneako" and many of the America First, or "Groypers", are fascists just a heads up. Their hatred for Israel goes deeper than legitimate criticism. Sneako's also got some "interesting" takes on the age of consent.

I wonder if many Palestinians feel that way about Hamas??

It seems like both sides are pretty polarized against the other to me...

PS perhaps a ceasefire is achievable... and maybe even a two state solution...

usually for ceasefires to be achievable, you need both parties involved to come to the table. israel killed the ceasefire negotators, and it was admitted by the US state department that they aren't interested in a ceasefire and have been lying this entire time, because they're interested in the land like people like moose and i have been saying from the start. the goal is a jewish supremacist state in the middle east that controls the middle east and it's resources.

if i was a palestinian i would have joined hamas immediately. so would 99% of all males that post in this thread.

So the US stated that it doesn't wish for a ceasefire?
