Don't they have DEA agents authorized to make seizures, press charges etc? Though I heard DEA use local LEO's and without them they're incapacitated.

I: why do you think they backed off med patients? because it's the right thing to do? of course not they can no longer afford to subsidize the level of enforcement needed for CA. That level only exponentially increases if everybody and his brother has 5X5

Yeah but what about the shops? They are easy targets, just go in, seize the stash and charge away. They can do it once in a while just to send a message. I'm ignorant on how they did it with MMJ, but it just looks so easy to terrorize shop owners/dispensaries and send owners to jail for long. It looks like legal MJ is going to be enthusiast market only, no common CEO would risk jail. Bless those guys who's gonna be on front line.

No, it will change the moment Prop 19 passes. This is because upwards of over 90% of all busts are done state level and not federal. Also, almost all of the federal cases started at the state level and was given to the feds to pursue.

Prop 19 prevents local/state officers from working with the feds. This is a major blow.

This will make stash houses easier to maintain, but people in CA aren't having their doors kicked in for too much pot in their homes. Growing too big or selling will still get you popped.

Let us remember that "Arrests" include all citations that are handed out for simple possession...also it includes all those that LEO decides to arrest, in spite of Prop 215...and are later dropped in Court--
