Vote NO to legalize cannabis....Or else

Prohibition of cannabis hurts society in a great many ways. Only the ones who do not know how it hurts are the people who still push prohibition.

Any legalization easement is good as it lead to further easement and eventual abolish

I can legally grow 18 plants and have a 1.5 lbs of dry weight. Why would I vote in favor of anything less then that. Like I said if you don't live in a state that's is not in the Stone Age, the new proposed laws are pretty weak.

It's important to realize that in both WA & CO nobody had to give up anything.

It's also important to realize that it's not all about you or me, but rather about all cannabis users. It's about doing away with faux urine tests for employment & total societal acceptance of cannabis use for anybody who wants to do so in a responsible manner. MMJ can't accomplish that. It's about America declaring Peace on itself in the Marijuana War & setting right a huge societal mistake that's gone on for nearly 80 years.

the main thing I have gleaned from this thread is that using a lot of different text formatting and colors does not make an argument any more reasonable or realistic

Never underestimate the power of lazy Florida cops. Those bastards will always go after the low hanging fruit rather than do actual police work. Because Florida.

after 4+ decades of exp.with fla cops and cops in general
I see quite the opposite,
its the fruits taking that attitude cops are lazy and stupid is exactly what makes them the easiest to harvest

When compared to myself, yes cops are stupid and lazy. If you are finding them more formidable then perhaps you should examine where you are in relation to that scale.

Vote early & often for LEGALIZATIN!

Vote early & often for LEGALIZATIN!

Wow.... So 750k annual arrests for MJ should just continue because you live in a medical state and don't want to rock the boat and you only want legalization on your own "perfect" terms? What a crock of crap!

Stop the mindless arrests for possession.

Stop the madness like Colorado has done.

Legalize it!!

Interesting thought process. I'm more likely to stick with the Gnome on this one, underestimating your foe is a dangerous game to play

FOR GROWING. Didn't get your weed from
A state ran shop. Tickets. Now they are attacking the medical system saying there is no need for it since you can just walk Into a store and buy it. Co will be next but who cares it's legal right.

Nothing going on in legal co today.

Federal agents along with local Denver police conducted multiple raids on marijuana growing operations around Colorado's capital city Tuesday morning.

The Denver Police Department declined to speak about the details of Tuesday's raids, citing an ongoing investigation, but tweeted this statement:

It has nothing to do with underestimating them. It has everything to do with the known statistic that they do not hire smart people or those with a college education beyond their go-to "criminal justice" degree. Which is closer to used toilet paper than an actual degree.

budtang obviously doesn't realize that the >>>serious growers<<< are the guys who were growing...and who are STILL growing long before any of this...med included...was even a thought...just as he could do where he is at if he wasn't so busy telling everyone else how badly it all sucks elsewhere.

So bud...what is stopping you from letting it fly where you are if you are so adamantly tough and staunch against authority of any kind telling you what you can/can't do? (Hint: Start with the veggie garden big guy!)

Why is it you need to go to Cali to show what a "serious grower" you are?

Were you growing commercially (in a home) in the 90's, by chance? Kinda think not if you think TODAY'S laws are restrictive and somehow unfair. Some folks here will understand what I'm saying, I'm sure. It's been YEARS since I read of someone getting their door kicked in and going to prison for a couple hundred plants like happened every other month or so here (CO) in the 90's.

Someone needs to tell you that home grows still exist here....as does a thriving underground market. Nobody stopped growing in their basement because the warehouses filled with plants in Denver or "retail" came on the scene. In fact, with prices in the shops at $400 a z and up and a 20-30% tax added on top of that and the allowance of A64 for legal home growing.... there are more home grows and associated activities here now than ever before...

Superb!
This person knows the real truth.
And in spite of whatever laws are taken down or promulgated, no one can ever control the power of an individual human spirit.
Any new or hesitant growers in Co. should read the above & take heart..
Bless you Monsoon.

That statement somewhat detracts from your declared intellectual superiority... They don't have to be smart... they just gotta get lucky once.

Truer words have never been spoken, particularly concerning LEO's. They have enormous resources at their disposal along with very long computerized memories. Anything they lack in terms of ingenuity they make up for with sheer persistence.

Thankfully, we don't have to deal with it the way we used to here in CO. It's a pleasure to be able to grow our own on the right side of the law. For any couple, having six plants flowering & 6 in veg will keep any I know as baked as they want with some to share. If it's not enough, become a better gardener. Sell the stuff? No thanks. I don't need the money or the potential downside concerns.

No exams, no cards, no registration, no bullshit. Just do it. We observe the usual precautions, of course, because we don't need rippers, either. Nary a whiff of skunk escapes the house here in the heart of Denver, and no orange glow escapes through the windows, either.

Once you give up the idea of making money at it, the whole thing gets a lot clearer. I'm pleased as punch to put money into it. It's cheaper than retail, for sure, and safer than Harleys.

you got it GC,
never Ever underestimate anyone especially cops in this biz,
on this end the loser pays a very steep price.

It has nothing to do with underestimating them. It has everything to do with the known statistic that they do not hire smart people or those with a college education beyond their go-to "criminal justice" degree. Which is closer to used toilet paper than an actual degree.

as for an *actual* college degree for cops,
most times its as good as toilet paper imo,
if I had a choice to deal with a college cop with an actual **degree** as you put it
or one with common sense, intuition and street smarts,
I'll go head to head with the college cop any day.

When compared to myself, yes cops are stupid and lazy. If you are finding them more formidable then perhaps you should examine where you are in relation to that scale.

so in your own words "cops are lazy-stupid when compared to myself"
interesting self perception of your self
I'm sure I and multitudes of others are as well.

Not looking down on anyone bro.
My connect is an asshole, and the reason he is is not because of what he does, but because he is an actual piece of shit as a human being but he is the only one I know.

and in this day and age where pot is easier to score than at any other time since pot was outlawed?
this is the only "POS human being" you can find to score from....
it's becoming pretty clear why one person will deal with you kiddo.

gots an idea for ya boss :smoke:
try looking in the mirror and turn that hi powered low perception of people you have on yourself.
and take a look at what other human beings see....

:moon:

btw
I hope your POS connect charges you double top dollar prices because he's severely under paid :joint:

The Denver Police Department declined to speak about the details of Tuesday's raids, citing an ongoing investigation, but tweeted this statement:

The situation in WA wrt growing hasn't changed, as I said. Same as it ever was. They lost nothing. Their situation is different than our own, more complicated, apparently.

Nobody's going after legal growers in CO, not now, not likely any time RSN, either. I said "legal", not running a sizable unlicensed grow op. It's entirely possible to get thrown in jail for growing pot in CO. If it wasn't, pot wouldn't fetch more than $20/oz, I figure. When you play, figure you might have to pay. OTOH, it's legal to grow your own because of the State Constitution, something the legislature can't change. Only a vote of the people can change it.

Which isn't what I was talking about, anyway. There's zero chance that pot will be legal like corn in our lifetimes, so it's inevitable that some will find the risk/reward profile attractive, and some will be busted. Perfect? Growers don't want perfect, because there'd be no money in it. They want black market margins with zero risk, a contradiction in terms.

What I was talking about was normalizing cannabis use & creating entirely legal channels of supply for anybody who wants it, like beer or tobacco. And I was talking about being able to grow your own in peace employing no gamesmanship.

Around here, LEO's have no interest in non-traffickers. Personal growers who are truly just that have no probs. Never sell for a worry-free experience. Observe plant count limitations to remain stress-free. Give it away & get high with your friends. Wander around town with an oz of buds strung together like a popcorn christmas tree wreath around your neck & nobody will bust you. In Denver, toke up on your front porch if you want.

I wish everybody had it so good.

I am about to visit Seattle for an extended period. I read that recreational delivery serves are illegal, yet I also see up to date current menus for recreational delivery. Some of the business' even have some nice looking stuff for average black market prices, unlike the one store front menu i found where grams are 20 dollsrs and that is the only increment you can purchase.

Anyone know if I can get in trouble for purchasing from a recreational delivery service? If so, is it just a ticket/infraction or is it a misdemeanor/felony?

Thanks for helping out,

cheers....oh and im bringing an ounce of my homegrown and edibles with me, but I would be curious to try new flavors or if I run out

thanks agaon
