Your weed is a perfect example of what I'm talking about with Colorado. That looks exactly like the shit that gets pawned off as being "top shelf" from Colorado. Every Colorado supplier I know is distributing shit that looks like yours. This is why I avoid Colorado weed.

That shit wouldn't even get someone like me high. Your pictures are a textbook example of why Colorado has low quality weed. It's because you have inexperienced guys like you who genuinely believe that their mid-grade is "top shelf" because of a few crystals and pretty colors. The OG you see posted ALL OVER THIS FORUM is far superior to that. You want me to post an image of something you can find 1,000's of examples of all over this forum?

I'll be honest here for a minute budtang. I agree with a bit of what you, armedoldhippy, Jhhnn,. Seaf0ur, and others have said.
BUT---
I am not a cheerleader for a law that restricts access, keeps people from low income levels from affording $22 dollar grams, controls a plant, etc. I agree it's a start but I just think legalization could really work without the smoke and mirror approach. Never have been a fan of gov cheerleaders either. Too easy to fuck and they yell the loudest whilst calling names for not agreeing with them. Just like attack dogs they don't think for themselves they just do what their handlers have carefully trained them to do. You'd think that critical thinking citizens would be able to see bullshit for what it is.
But budtang what you put in the post above is without a doubt one of the most stupid pieces of shit I've ever seen on a canna board.
Without even knowing what it is, just by looking at a picture you automatically make the determination that what Seaf0ur had shown is total bullshit. And then you can't stop there you go on to insult the fuck out the guy. Seriously what kind of fucking moron are you? A critical thinker you are not.
And all this time I thought Yummybud was the biggest idiot I'd ever seen around. Yummybud was an idiot but he wasn't some punk ass little bitch. Damn

You can tell it's not top shelf just by looking at it. I don't need to smoke it. If you can't see that his weed isn't the best of the best on the world market, then you don't know what good weed actually looks like. His weed is the same generic product you can find from any distributor on the market. It's the epitome of mediocrity. It think it's a reflection of America in general. America is a country full of people who worship mediocrity and the Colorado market reflects this fact.

I didn't insult the guy. I just gave a view from someone who actually has access to top shelf weed and will compare his weed to that. The view I gave him is the same view he would receive in the California market.

I'm not an asshole for being honest. Guys like him are trying to pawn off weed like his for $120/quad in my state and you're saying I'm an asshole for calling him out on it. I'm tired of seeing his weed in my market with an inflated price tag. I don't mind paying $120/quad for weed that deserves that price tag. I'll gladly pay $120/quad for a product deserving of that price tag. It got so bad with Colorado distributors in my state that I actually contacted one of these guys and asked if I could come over and show them what top shelf weed is supposed to look like in that price range. He was blown away. This guy will try to contact us and say,"I got some good OG from Colorado." I have to go over there and take OG from California and show them what good OG is supposed to look like.

It's just seems as if the quality of weed gets lower and lower as legalization gets more and more widespread. It's bizarre. The availability of weed is going up, but the quality is decreasing more and more every year.

How can you develop an honest opinion without sampling it. Looks don't mean shit. Just further goes to the point of you being a moron. FWIW, I hate GSC and tossed it in favor of better. But others love it so more power to them. Pot is subjective as to who like what.

It's not that I can't read. It's that there is no point in listening to a closet grower with 6 plants make futuristic predictions about the cannabis industry. It's amusing to watch a closet grower go around and pretend to be an authority on Colorado. If the guy were actually someone with knowledge on the subject it would be different. It's kind of surprising you don't see actual dispensary owners on here with actual knowledge on the subject.

The best source of information on the forum appears to be closet hobby growers. Where are all the businessmen directly involved in the industry located? It would be nice if we could get some of them in here.

Perhaps you deliberately failed to notice that personal growing in CO is not intended to be part of the market at all. The relationship is quite tangential. It's like backyard veggie gardens vs the supermarket.

Market principles are universal. That abstraction seems to escape you entirely. That's because you're locked into a soon to be antiquated black market cottage industry headset.

You can't see the forest for the trees. That's evident in your insecure braggadocio & the way you contradict yourself. Well, that's if you're legit at all, which is becoming increasingly unlikely.

One the one hand, you say that the market will be satisfied by mid grade, deny that concentrates & blends can satisfy demand for more potent product in the same breath. You go on about top shelf CA OG as if it really matters to the market if the rest of what you claim is true. You demand pics, furnish none of your own, then claim they don't matter anyway. When apparently legit big growers provide their input, like ColoradoOG, you simply pretend that never happened, demand that such input needs to happen for valid argument to exist.

You are clearly some sort of pretender whose agenda is not what you claim it to be. If you were honestly interested in becoming a legal CA grower, you'd approach the whole thing in a different manner. You'd be trying to find out which localities are most friendly to what you want to do, what you need to do to satisfy the requirements, how to enter the network of people who supply MMJ outlets in CA. You'd be trying to make friends, not alienate people with bullshit & bluster.

How can you develop an honest opinion without sampling it.

1. Purple strains suck

2. The Calyxes are tiny as fuck. Just like ALL the shit in Colorado.

Looks don't mean shit.

Spoken like a true amateur. Top shelf needs to have the look combined with everything else. If you're lacking in any area then you're not growing top shelf. That includes having the look, but lacking the flavor and potency. When I look at his pics and it clearly doesn't have the look of top shelf, then it doesn't matter how much better the smoke is in comparison to the look. It will still lack what true top shelf provides. Which, is the entire package. Looks, smell, flavor, potency, etc.

Just further goes to the point of you being a moron.

Just goes to show that you're another amateur cannabis horticulturalist.

FWIW, I hate GSC and tossed it in favor of better. But others love it so more power to them. Pot is subjective as to who like what.

FWIW, You've never smoked REAL Girl Scout Cookies. What cut did you toss? Forum, Animal, Platinum, etc? None of those even qualifies as GSC, IMO. It's an abomination to even label those cuts "Girl Scout Cookies." When you smoke the original versus the knock offs it's a lot different. What you see tossed around on this forum is pale in comparison. It's store brand Coca Cola versus the original. I guess if you want to base your opinion on the watered down version of a strain, then go right ahead. Just don't expect somebody like me to take you seriously. Every person I've seen provide a negative view of GSC is basing it on a FAKE CUT just like you did right here.

Good luck trying to explain that in the Girl Scout Cookies thread, though. Those guys will act like you're insulting their child if you criticize their knock off cuts. Girl Scout Cookies is a perfect example of why companies like Burpee and Monsanto won't be able to preserve genetic purity when all these small scale breeders are phased out of existence by Colorado's policies. Small scale breeders can't even do it when trying to copy a competitor.

We'll be left with watered down versions of the original like the cut of GSC you grew. You know...the cut you said you,"tossed in favor of better?" Those low quality versions will be all we're left with after the originals disappear. THIS IS THE FUCKING REASON I'M ON THIS THREAD. It has nothing to do with $$$$. You just basically summarized my entire argument by saying that a watered down version of a strain is unacceptable and deserves to be "tossed." If you were growing the original cut, trust me, you wouldn't have "tossed it in favor of better."

I've seen TONS of shitty Girl Scout Cookies out there and that's what you were growing, ryder. Trust me, you haven't even seen real GSC. There is literally maybe, 4 or 5 pics of authentic Girl Scout Cookies in that 200 page thread that are authentic pics of the strain. The rest of it is all watered down fake garbage that shouldn't even bare the name. I tried to tell them they should change the name of that thread to "FORTUNE COOKIES." That's all that's posted in there. It's a thread full of knock off, fake ass garbage. Just like the cut you were growing.

About the only thing in your last 15-20 post I can agree with. Having said that I don't like the flavor element. Others do not my thing.
Maybe, just maybe you aren't the only one with connections? Just guessing tho as I'm just a lowly amateur horticulturist. lol

Amazing. Guess what I'm holding right now?

That kid is funny as can be. Who is he to tell you what you've smoked.

Too bad your daddy don't have a private jet...

The troll joined last month, has posted 175+ times, and has probably never looked at your photo albums....

Sad for him really.

I'll put up the fake ass shit you have access to up against the kids shit any day.

Lol,
The kid knows everything my friend. Just ask him. Or don't and he'll fill you in with the real 411 anyway.
Hows that saying go? Those that can grow do. Those that can't argue on a canna board while masturbating to nude bondage/anal stretching pictures of their mom in their moms basement.:jerkit: Or something like that.
Have a great weekend and a safe trip!! Tell our friends I said hi.

I like Sherbert more, myself.

The OG is still my favorite, though. I called out the SFV OG when the jar was stuck up to my nose the other day. My friends thought it was pretty funny. You know you're smoking too much when you can start to pick out and name one of 20 different OG cuts just by the smell alone. I didn't even have to look at it. You can just smell that distinctive SFV spice smell that other OG's don't have.

There is just something to be said about a strain when a mason jar can't even contain the smell. I can smell this shit walking down the hall, outside of bedroom, and it's closed up in a jar tightly. You better take extra precautions if you drive with this shit in the car. It's a pain in the ass. It really is. Good luck smoking it without your neighbors knowing. This shit will stink up the whole block. It's no wonder why more people don't fuck with growing it. I don't see what good Carbon Filters would do.

You just don't see that problem with anything coming from Colorado.

no, the "worst possible outcome" would be if it remained illegal & people kept getting arrested/jailed/killed/lost their jobs/homes/families.

Come on....... at least read what I wrote. I certainly never advocated for the status quo. I was referring to the end result of legalization.

Besides regulatory capture which will be the worst possible outcome stemming from legalization and will happen because it happens in every market where the government regulates. What do you think is going to get them to relinquish their monopoly on the market considering they will be getting paid by its being illegal or legal. I see zero motive for them to do that.

We are chasing the same goal just a taking a different path. Path A. legalize and monopolize via regulation and licensing still making it illegal for some people , or path B. repeal the laws and have none of that.
If you are saying incremental steps are better to eventual repeal of the laws. I would just want to know how you are going to convince politicians to throw away their monopoly as gate keepers to the industry and all the bribe/ lobbying money that goes along with it.

Yea, but that's going to continue under current legalization models. So...

The "average stoner" was NEVER facing the problems you just listed. So, why are you so obsessed with establishing a system that solves none of those problems and only helps people who faced minor legal inconveniences under the old system? Under the old system the police were busy arresting every smoker that crossed their paths. This made it harder for them to dedicate resources to people facing serious charges. Now, they'll be able to dedicate more resources to going after people who actually stand to lose something for cannabis related crimes.

But, hey, those fucking yuppies buying sacks won't have a problem. I can't say the same for the members of this forum, or the forum itself, though. Do you really think ICMAG will be allowed to exist in the future cannabis legalization system? This will be one of the first databases shut down after Colorado's system is adopted nationwide. This website harbors vendors who don't follow the laws of this system. These laws are designed to go after them.

Thanks guys!

; )

the example that Seafour posted WAS one of those average stoners that you say will never face those problems. now, he is dead because the police could get a warrant to go in with a SWAT team to arrest him for having less than two joints worth of pot. THAT aint gonna happen if it is legal in ANY circumstance. how do you figure MORE people are going to go to jail instead of fewer if it is made legal? minor legal inconvenience my ass he is DEAD. am I worried about growers who are more worried about their profit margin than I am about casual smokers that want to keep their job/house/family/freedom? not just NO, but HELL NO! those people that you call "yuppies buying a sack" are YOUR CUSTOMERS, & I doubt that they appreciate being thrown under the govt bus for your sake.

the average citizen wants to have police stop arresting folks for pot. they DO NOT want outright freedom for people to do whatever the hell they want with no regulations. it aint gonna happen. you just keep right on dreaming about Nirvana & perfection, & I will keep right on working toward protecting folks that want to have a few plants for their own use & not worry about getting arrested or losing their job/house over smoking a joint after work. yes, it DOES happen...

Im not down with full boat legalization either. I am seeing even with medical, the small time, average grower is being pushed out, and priced out thru exorbitant fees for licensing.
Currently we are seeing private caregivers forced out of the game to make way for giant weed farms. I believe in weed freedom and no one should ever go to jail for weed, but this is quickly becoming a rich mans game, Dr's, Lawyers, Ex-Cops, Ex Politicians, these are the new face of weed if things continue the way they are.

All of the people that have made weed what it is today, the growers working tirelessly underground to fuel the movement, well the states will take a huge shit right on your heads and not think twice. And home growing will still be illegal if you cant afford to pay them thousands of dollars for taxes and fees, so what kind of progress is that. Just so you can go down to 7-11 and buy a bag, whoopty freakin doo, I dont buy weed, to me my right to grow and provide for others is much more important than any of that.

P.S your threads would carry more weight if you dont post 10,000 of them, that will just get you banned for spamming.

I too agree. :tiphat:

The warrant was for 2 joints? I'm pretty sure they went in there for another reason. Not just for 2 joints. Just because that's all he had on him doesn't mean that's what the warrant entailed.

It's dishonest for you to claim the warrant was based on 2 joints when it wasn't. Plus, this is a freak occurrence. Situations like this aren't common at all. You act like people are being murdered for 2 joints every day.

Can you post another example of such a case? Or, is this the only one you have?

THAT aint gonna happen if it is legal in ANY circumstance.

Excuse me? Have you not heard the news stories about a woman two weeks ago who was beaten by police for grilling on her front porch when she is supposed to do it on her back porch? Bill Maher talked about it the other night.

Police brutality is a problem that will continue to exist regardless of what laws are in place. I recommend on focusing on that problem. Instead of just trying to help out cannabis smokers.

how do you figure MORE people are going to go to jail instead of fewer if it is made legal?

Because, the police will have more resources and time to focus on cannabis offenders who are actually committing jail-able offenses. All these laws do is keep them from wasting time on minor offenses. This frees up their schedule to focus on home growers who don't follow the rules. They were tied up like crazy before. Now, they'll just go around and start doing knock and talks on every suspicious resident with shady electrical usage on their meter.

You're giving money hungry federal authorities more motive to step in and install guidelines that restrict residential growing altogether. Due to the fact that you don't even attempt to provide a tax collection system for residential growers. Federal authorities will eventually step in and say,"Residential growers are banned from growing anything because they don't pay taxes."

This is why it's important to set up a system that allows residential growers to pay taxes. A system like that will be the only thing that the Federal Government will allow to exist. You think the Federal Government is going to be cool with 6 plants in every resident? What fucking fantasy land do you live in? Just because voters were okay with that, doesn't mean the greedy ass Fed will be. You better set up a fucking tax system fast. I'm not saying tax every grower...I'm saying at least allow some of us to voluntarily do so to keep these assholes happy.

That may be the only thing that allows residential growing to be accepted at all on a federal level. The alternative is to end up like Washington.

minor legal inconvenience my ass he is DEAD. am I worried about growers who are more worried about their profit margin

HOW THE FUCK AM I FOCUSED ON PROFIT MARGINS WHEN I'M PROPOSING A SYSTEM WHERE I MAKE LESS MONEY?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can one of you stupid fuckers explain that to me? I've pointed this out a dozen and you fucking idiots keep talking about "profit margins."

This is how fucking stupid you are. You keep talking about "profit margins" when I would make MORE MONEY under your stupid fucking system. Fucking moron. If you get your way, I make more money. If I get my way, I make less money. So, clearly money isn't my motive here you stupid fucking prick. So, can you stop fucking claiming that it is when it's been proven false multiple times?

Freedom, not government is the only answer. There is no such thing as being pushed out of the market UNLESS you SUCK or the GOVERNMENT is doing the pushing....

There're aren't rules on tomato plants or other flowering / fruit baring plants. Just because I was born into an era of insanity doesn't mean I'll buy into their delusion.

The government can stay the fuck away from my body, my garden, and my property!

the warrant was for selling, based on a faulty confidential informant. I did not say the warrant was for two joints. no, it was NOT a freak occurrence. they kick in the wrong doors, toss flash-bangs into rooms with children in them, & shoot people for trying to defend their homes from armed intruders, & bullshit like this happens every day in this country. ANY step forward makes it safer for us. I am all for repealing any laws regarding weed, but it is a pipe dream, aint gonna happen. EVERYTHING is regulated, get used to it...
