Been said, but sad how few (none??) British comics are on the poll.
Then again, stand-up is more of an american thing, with sketch comedy more brit I suppose.

That said, voted for Chapelle. I don`t know if I consider Bill Hicks a comic so much as a commentator.

i so agree! i watched a couple of his shows then caught a segment that was against pot & have disliked him since.
