Normally I burn flower though out the day and save the concentrates for evening. But hell it's Friday so I pressed out a little rosin (Malawi) .
IMG_20230707_105033122_MFNR~3.jpg

I could dab the rosin but I prefer a little dolup on some nice MHZ x SMG.
Nice uplifting hit although lots of people working around here that I don't know making me somewhat anxious.

This plot is dedicated to strawberrys and there's a crew of local farmers that cultivate it. The farmers are pretty cool, very quiet and hard working but I don't like them looking at my plants. I got to get adjusted to this place.
But adaptability is the name of the game so we ruck up and get it done.

Here's a nice phenotype I found in the Kamora F2 line. It's just like (morphology) grandma X2B mutant.
IMG_20230709_074538666_MFNR~3.jpg

The change of environment slowed growth a bit but they're coming back. I'm still sorting out the right place but for now I like this location around back of the house.

Well it's full on rainy season here now. Get some sun now but rain and low temperatures the majority of the day.
It's crazy here with the owners getting ready to leave and all the other activities going on. This is a working farm with strawberry cultivation going on and raspberries and baby cows, chickens. People building things and moving shit everywhere. Too much going on for the rider to get adjusted to. I spend all day moving my plants around the house chasing the sun all while trying to smoke a joint out of sight. Things will calm down in a few days when the finca owner leaves.
Happy to be here but might take a little bit to get a productive routine going.
I'm watching the news about the extreme heat up north, it'was 7 degrees Celsius here this morning. Just saying.

I found three nice male Kamora F2 s for the next generation. I'll start collecting pollen in the next few days. Two females, one mutant that I really like the other more uniform.
IMG_20230712_082534731_MFNR.jpg

For me I've out crossed enough and just want to refine what I've got.
Although there's no Colombian genetics in this line it's acclaiming to Colombia. It's what I am looking for in terms of potency and vigor but still could be refined in future generations.

Things going on down here in boyacá. Had a big meeting Thursday with the tourism conceal here in paipa. It turns out that the many hotels in the department want to intergrate cannabis into the buiesness.
So after a couple hours of talking we came to a conclusion. They want THC flowers and concentrates and CBD oil soap cream and edibles. I explained that I'm interested in working my lines and the original Colombian genetics. And that's what they want. All this is because the tourist industry here is anticipating rec laws going into effect soon. The hotel coalition has a licensed facility in Meta but has not started production. They can extend the licensing to my finca. I again emphasized that I want nothing to do with big commodity cannabis. But I am interested in canna tourism and I would like tourist to experience real Colombian cannabis. So we are moving forward. More to come.

Despite all the hoopla I continue working with my projects. Yesterday an agronamo came out to the finca and took measurements for my little greenhouse. The owners brother is the agronamo and he helped me find a sweet spot near the chicken house. There's no more chickens around and the place has been cleaned out. But the spot is out of the wind and gets full sun all day. In the meantime I'm collecting pollen from the Kamora F2 males and preparing to reverse a few CBD clones.

(Kamora F2)
Contamination is an issue so great care is taken while handling the pollen and plants.

(Kamora F2)
Seeds are germanating for the next cycle. I've got some old stuff so a little extra time is required to germinate.
Panama x Destroyer
Taskenti
Ohaze x skunk #1
Samora (F1)
Also starting some long flowering plants to hopefully finish in January.
Colombian Black
Oaxacan
Paipa sativa
Mangobiche x Haze
Finally got some cloning equipment to set up somewhere as well as the veg area. Greenhouse is only for flowering as I don't want lights in it.
And we'll be washing the MHZ x SMG flowers to see how the bubble is.

Here in paipa it's about 8am, still chilly around 10 degrees Celsius. Suns coming up but partly cloudy as it has been the last month or so.

Drinking another cup of coffee with a little morning sativa.

Getting ready to head to town to get some ice for a bubble wash. We will be making some test bubble from the MHZ x SMG.

Yes I know very well not having anything dry or even waiting to finish. Here it's really easy to buy but I was a few short months ago smoking leaves. But the good thing is soon you will have dry flowers. Anticapiion is always nice.

a right, buying !
I remember that

soon you will have dry flowers

80% seeds to pick out :sasmokin:

it's ok tough, that's how I roll now
seeded bud is a legal loophole here and not having to deal with anyone else, really pushed my Karma and I live free of paranoia.

Lot's going on, unfortunately some things could be better. Woke up around 4am made the coffee and realized it was raining. No problem cause I had the plants under cover. Around 8am rain got heavy and temps are low so drank the coffee and burned a little flower. Been 22 days here at this finca and I'm still trying to figure out how to grow here.
IMG_20230719_184702371_MFNR.jpg

Dudes came to install some security cameras. I wasn't aware they were coming and right after the finca owner left they saw my plants. Next thing I know they're asking my for a paper showing me that they had weed too. Normally I like talking to young growers but I needed these guys to install the cameras quickly. After about an hour the owner returned and they got the job done. Strange days indeed.
