High Grade Vintage Cannabis photography

What a history lesson! I love seeing the pictures and magazine clippings. I hope some the newer members of the smoking circle find time to check this thread out. More often than not, I feel like the modern cannabis scene is losing touch with its roots. I have faith that with this kind of information not all will be lost! Thanks to everyone who took time to contribute

Those buds we smoked back in the day were the bomb.

Not in my area back in the 80's.

Granted, we weren't "weed capital, USA", but we had a LOT of muldoons that smoked. Pretty much ALL the weed we could find was a mixture of seed, stem, bud, and leaf sift. We didn't know any better though and thought that was the "norm"....because it was.

Today things are MUCH better.

I love this thread and have reread it several times. Why are so many of the original posters banned? Seems weird.

Does anybody remember some vintage pictures of an american scientist examining some beautiful looking plants? if I remember well, probably at Parke Davis farms in Rochester, Michigan.

I think I've seen the picture somewhere... it would be great if someone remembers it too or knows where to find them.

Vibes.

Wow, the shit we smoke nowadays looks 1000000 times better than the 70s.

Indoor grows for life!

Clearly you've never smoked a good import. A good import bud shouldn't look good because a lot of places ferment their ganj, giving a brown appearance but superior smoothness and flavor. These buds that look schwag, are actually super potent. I used to get lambsbread that was like acid, it looked like shit but cost fifteen a gram because it was my boys favorite smoke, shit was straight trippy, too much so for most
