Using their numbers (doubling for Cali), the most you could expect out of these plants is 800 grams?

I wonder if the genetics are that much better now, or if it's cultivation practices, 'cause that's not much more than a pound and a half!

Yes, now that I look around the edges of the ad insert, I see lots of discussion about marijuana genetics.....South Indian, Nepali, etc.

Still, if anyone can tell me the exact source, I'd love it. I have most of the 70's and 80's High Times issues so it won't be difficult to narrow down whether it's in a Jan, Feb, or thereabouts issue.

Steamboy, let me know if you remember.

Some of those pictures are what I remember the marijuana I bought in the 80s to be like in terms of trimming. Still some leafy material and not as tightly manicured as it is now.

When do the tightly manicured buds start appearing?

That description of Skunk #1 from Sam's CC flyer/price list are exactly what I remember.

The best skunk I used to get in the 80s had that light green tint to it, the buds were kinda fluffy and BIG and very stoney.

I seem to remember the come down wasn't so great, but the high was awesome.

HB.

Looks like HT November 83 or 93. I have this issue at home and will check it out though I don't remember ever seeing a strain list like the one you posted.

Raco- Is that your pic? Do you know what strain that is? I used to get stuff that looked exactly like it in the late 80's. We would get it in So Cal but it came from Northern Cal. Most of the stuff I got back then came from Humboldt but this was from a different guy who used to head north in his Airstream during harvest and always came back with the best treats! He called it the Honey Khyber. The only other weed he called by name was something he called the Black Affie (it wasn't black). Wish I had pics...

High all! Is there someone can help me get HQ scans of article named "The Khyber Pass: World’s Oldest Smuggling Run" from High Times magazine #44 (April 1979)?

Thanks for attention!
