I'm using urine on my present outdoor plants even tho I have a bunch of other ferts and they LOVE it. Want to do this grow rite as nature intended it long before man. Pure organic FTW.. I feel the chemicals are better for lubricating machines n shiat..

Thanks to everyone who contributes by speaking up their mind without fear of being ridiculed by those who are the real clowns of the story, and it's not makeup and costumes that make them clowns.. but their ignorance.

Humans have only one waste byproduct and that is shit.
Urine is simply highly concentrated micronutrients, vitamins and other beneficial organic compounds that we get in excess and our body has too much to keep or use up.. so we let it back into the nature hopefully to recycle faster. There are even some eastern cultures that drink their own urine every morning and it promotes health, and is even known to cure cancer. AFAIK there are no cases of bad symptoms whatsoever occurring in people practicing this healing method, so all of you that think throwing bat shit or chemicals on your plants is ok, but fertilizing with diluted 1 part urin 15 parts watter is "eeewwww" better wake up and smell the roses.

Yep. ^^

Been using piss ever since,,, well, once we had a problem with an Armageddon 47 clone in coco,,, no feed in bottles,, so we asked Growdoc ,, back on overgrow. n the viking advised we added "wee-wee,, just a small cup" added to water,, it did the trick almost overnight,, least until we got some 1part arde into her... :D

Outdoor, we been using urine mixed with guano for a while now with good results,, some added honey/sugar and seaweed extract helps get everything fermenting nicely... more recently we're adding fine wood ash also...

Note for any still in doubt... medieval monks used ammonia nitrate for many applications,, including fertilizer,, it's an old practise,, google it

Extra info:

Female urine sometimes carries unwanted chemicals (hormones related to contraceptive pill).

Urine output depends on what and how much ppl have been drinking.

Dehydrated urine is darker than urine that is less concentrated.

Normal urine is straw coloured.

Guinness makes good horticultural urine

hehe... :D

Any food, as long as it's natural makes a good horticultural fertilizer/urine. Ideal would be 100% organic food, so treat yourself with honor and take your plants on that same trip your going and they are gonna trip you out in return :)

Let me tell you guys.. On my plants that sprouted just a few days ago.. I used urine diluted 1:20 with watter and I sprinkle them with mister every time the sun/light goes down.. amazing results.. I newer saw plants take off that quickly from start.

Well I guess nature with its billion years of evolution does beat petrochemicals and science by much more than I ever imagined.

How do you let it ferment? For the fermented pee, do you pour out the whole thing, or do you just use the top 90% of what's in the container.

Just curious here.

If you were to save the urine in some kind of reservoir, would adding an airstone to the mix be of any benefit or hindrance? I suppose it would keep the small particles from settling. So maybe you'd have to stop the airstone for an hour or so before you used it to allow everything to settle.

Anybody do this?

I can tell you right now that adding an airstone would STINK, really bad. It might help I suppose, but really it's not needed. Letting it sit in a bottle for a few weeks does the trick perfectly.

I no longer use it like I used to, but I helped make the OG thread about it in the first place, different name back then(Klompen). Urine is great, and when I need a pick-me-up for my plants, sometimes it's a good way to go for fast results, but the salt content in it is bad for my organic growing style. Ideally letting it ferment for long periods and then removing it with a baster/dropper without disturbing the settlements on the bottom will give you urine with a much lower salt content. The lower the salt the better. Also, eating "lite salt" helps. It's usually made of 50-50 mix of potassium chloride and sodium chloride. Better for you generally than regular salt, and increases the potassium in the urine.

agree, urine def has its place in growing ganja..sure it works good indoors for a quick boodt of soulble nitrigen..but imho its best sited for outdoor/guerrilla grows...indoors theres just sooo many al;ternatives to urine, which work so much better..but outdoors, you are sometimes limited to what you can use..not only for money issues, but security..it isnt wise being see walking to your plot with several bottles that have "ADVANCED NUTRIENTS" all over it lol...so yes,I HIGHLY recceomend using urine for your outdoor guerrilla grows,as a boost of nitrigen or just a as a great growing phase fertilizer...dilute it 1/10 urine/water...and only drink water for that day,...

Wow Im so glad to see that a technique that I brought to many people is still alive!! I recently did a google search on using Liquid gold and wow it has really spread through the net!! I used to post on OG many years ago and I remember when I first started to talk about it I got flamed at and laughed at by so many. But some listened and actually tried it and saw that It worked. I still use it to this day when Im growing on not only my my plants but even in my veggie garden and the plants always thrive.

This is my first post in this forum so Im glad Its one that goes back to my old OG days.
To those that might remember me I kept my same handle from back in those days.

many phrases regarding urine as a commodity from the middle ages piss poor meant you collected your urine for sale.not a pot to piss in meant you were too poor to afford a collection pot to sell urine.damn and I am running low on ph down wondering how much will effect p.h. of water?or heheh i have plenty to figure it out.

My plants really seem to like my Liquid Gold... I leave a 1 ltr OJ bottle by the bed starting at night fall. I will piss in the bottle until next morning. At that time I collect the urine and mix it with rain water at a dilution rate of 1:10. I then apply the water to each plant just enough to give them a "nice drink", just enough.

cracks me up that some folks would never consider man made fertilizers or pesticides but have no problem smoking their own piss.

Yeah, god forbid you try something natural. Enjoy smoking your petrochemical synthetics

It is all broken down into its basic chemical components anyways. I don't see the big deal either way.

Exactly  That's why I phrased it that way.

People always say 'smoking piss', but they never say 'smoking petrochemicals' when smoking a conventional nute product. They both get broken down the same, and you're not smoking anything in urine ferted buds that you're not already smoking in conventionally ferted buds.

Sorry, I misunderstood, I thought you were one of those organic only people who rail against any of the chemical ferts :)
