Talking about the ones that survived the slug damage...

Up'zz has 'bounce back' qualities like no any other Auto has after cold and wet.

Normally Autos will dwarf up after such. Not Up'zz. They will go on like noting bad happened. Just leave em there, you'll see, and be amazed.

Roots right now will be expanding anyhoos, while 'above ground' it looks like nothing happens for a while.

Then temps go up, and tadaa

Got a good score of survivors on the feral spot that I had let go to shit last year.

Many had germinated on that one day 2 weeks ago when there was +25c, and then next day it dropped below +7c for all the time after that until now.

I think that if it would stay up beyond +10c for a while, and with some Sun on it, there's even many more that are going to germ.

Spring birds been scratching the surface I saw, but obviously they could not get them all.

On muuten saakelin paska sää taas. Vettä tulee niin kun Esterin perseestä ja sähköt pätkii, kun niin myrskyää. Mnooh, ehkä se kesäkuu tulee sitten kesäkuussa. Vaikka 2015 kesäkuun 1 päivä tuli vielä lunta, et en tiiä tästä varmaksi. Soittakaahan sammakkotohtorille! Perkele.

Oli 6/12 selvinnyt femmatuista viime päivien myrskyistä, kun eilen kävin katsomassa. Nyt on kahdeksas päivä kun vein ne pitkillä hännillä luonnon helmaan. Regu penkeistä ei tietoa vielä, täytyy käydä katselemassa myöhemmin, kun osa oli idätettyjä ja osaan heitin vaan suoraa maahan.

It's obvious to see that at your latitude, they will shoot into flowering way faster as here up North.

I believe that your next batch sown out a bit later will go a hell of a lot better.

But lets wait it out with these till the end. > Up'zz have shown me before that as soon as weathers become favorable again, they will bounce back like no other, and even when they are already in bloom.

yea i got alot more batches sowned already like a week ago they are alive all , and yes they grow alot better they are fat,i think its the site it gets more sun, in corn i think these will be the best well see. i was battery out il do more phot next time

Let's hope so! Weather's been fine now, but last week was rain, sun, warm, cold, clear sky, cloudy, almost freezing nights in like a 24-48hr period.
Now a few warm days, supposed to get some rain on sunday, which would be good!

Eli joo, kumma on sää olluna, tai ainakin vaihteleva. Ainahan se tuppaa olemaan Suomen kesässä, mut tämmöstä en ihan äkkiä muista. Yleensä se takatalvi tulee kerran, mut nyt ei oikein osannut päättää että onko kevät, kesä vai syksy. Takatalvi jääny vielä ainakin tulematta.. Landella takapihan Ruotsinpihlajakin oli niin myöhässä, että meinasin kaataa koko paskan kun luulin että se on kuollut. Mut lähtihän se sitten siitä.

Ja Ruottalainen tosiaan, ne on aika pehmeitä kuitenkin järjestäen. Oikeestaan ihme että on ees elossa

Että semmosta kesää. Ja jotkut jaksaa vielä vaahdota hokin mömmöm-skaboista kesäkuussa. Nooh, huvinsa kullakin.

gumzgi what's your day/night schedule now?
I'm at about 60,8N 21,1E and sun rise is @ about 03:55 in the morning and sun down is 22:41, so the length of day is 18,46hrs with only 1,44hrs of darkness. And it's not dark dark, more like twilight dark. That would explain the fast flowering and shorter plants, maybe.. Good thing, bad thing? Bit of both I guess. But this is a thing most people don't count when they talk about growing in the north. It's not all in how north you grow and what strain, it's also growing north on the dark side of the planet. Which means a lot of light in the summer, and no light in the winter. That puts a twist on the whole damn photoperiod thing. Also makes growing southern strains impossible because when we start going down to 18/6 day/night, winter is fast approaching and if your stuff isn't already flowering by then, it's most likely too late to finish before winter comes a knocking. Rather be south than north, altho if the planet keeps getting warmer.. We will get that mediterranean weather and Mediterranean region will have like 50 degrees celsius weather. Not to mention sea level rising.. It's nice to have a house on the beach, but that might soon turn into a house on the sea. And that's not good, unless you buy a used offshore oil drilling rig thing. Then you'll also need a speedboat, or a helicopter. Or both. Either way. Inland better than no land.

And yea, I've seen Waterworld at least ten times, too. That "Dry land is not a myth" line is not in the movie. Still, not bad.
Also I've seen "Cable Guy" at least 3 times and I don't understand why people hate it. It was way ahead of it's time, and even Matthew Broderick is pretty good in it.

En kyl muista millon kesäkuun alku olisi ollut näin lämmin. Toukokuun alussakin lämmin jakso, jossei loppukuun koleat kelit ja yöpakkaset liikaa häirinneet niin nopeista autoista saisi kyllä suht aikaiseen hyvän sadon.

Vähän jännittää kuinka on Up'zz ja Lapin kesät pärjänneet... Joutu idätettynä viemään ulos 18.5 paskat kelit siis oli kylvää, mutta ei ollu vaihtoehto laittaa sisälle ja olivat jo itäneet niin ei muuta voinu... Alkuviikosta tarvisi mennä katsomaan mitä on jääny jäljelle
