Hehe, those are my exact thoughts from yesterday. I was following the thought line about cannabis loving mountain sides and slopes, where the ground keeps moving creating landslides and fresh growth spots for cannabis. Obviously we don't have those in Finland. Then I thought to myself, hmmm, why don't I be the force of nature After all I'm just a part of the fauna of this planet just like any other critter.

Now that you bring that up that's verry interesting Thule. Some time ago I been looking along "google earth" how the plants natural environment looks over in Nepal, and it is exactly as you say.

I think I did not even find one spot over there that would actually be "level" enough to fit my chair and sit up straight.

My enormously labour intensive Peat/clay/ewc hills on wich I happen to do my thing are actually proof that your theory seems to work Thule.

Some friend of mines went up to Nepal once and took some soil probes that he sent to some laboratory in middle europe. The lab concluded that the soil over there consist out of 70% clay.
I myself however stick to 30 % Clay in chunk form tho, since for some reason that anyways seems to be the better percentage for us to go in here.

Also he took 12 ph tests from different spots overthere and they where all 6.0 flat out.

Weird thing is that in here my plants seem to thrive best on a ph of inbetween 6.2 and 6.8

Aparently the mineral content/organic material ratio's of the soil over there is differently balanced as I could ever achieve over here.

Yep, clay won't work in big proportions, too tight, too cold. The best niche for wild spreading cannabis would be next to fields, the soil would be perfect and is turned upside down every year. Hemp loves to grow next to cabbage for some reason, the same with corn and sunflower. The probem is ofcourse suomalaiset farmerit. Perkele. Further south farmers have other things to worry about than weeds around their field.

Since cannabis can only compete with existing vegetation in large quantities roadsides won't do, probably not even meadows, not without human assistance. One habitat to consider are riversides

Along our river goes a huge dyke that's been intensively in use by pedestrians and bicyclists.

I placed some seeds this year somewhere half way on the dyke, just out of curiosity if ppl passing by would even notice it at all, but then one day, suddenly the water rose and swept it all away.
Next year again, but then a bit higher up, lol.

Well, I grow all 3 of them and they are HUGE at my place, my every single "lehtikaali" has grown to a size that would not even fit into a cubic meter of space.

Guess what I am using for dung in here on that patch, and what I feed my Canna's too ? ...Goat, sheep and chicken dung!, and guess what ppl are keeping around their farms up in the mountains...? It all fits the glove man!

Nyt on enää muutama oksaa kaadettava niin sesonki on ohi. Löysin parikymmentä siementä Typhooneista ja PR:eista mutta vaan alemmilla oksilla. Hermiet kaadettiin ennen kun nämä lähti kukkimaan enkä ole löytänyt kyrpiä näistä plantuista. Onks se Hangon siitepöly levinnyt ympäri Suomen maata?

Hyvä sato vaikka yhdessä vaiheessa näytti kehnolta.

Onks kukaan tehnyt bubble bag hasaa? Tein eilen eikä se määrä mitä sain kovin kummalinen, ehkä pari grammaa. Käytin lehtiä ja trimmiä. Onks muilla kokemusta tästä menetelmästä?

Mistä sä oot Piel ostanu sun säkit, ja millasilla silmätiheyksiä on. Pitäs tilata pussit, mutta ei vaan pysty päättämään että mistä sitä tilais ja minkä merkkiset.

Kesäkuun ekalla viikolla siiduina istutettu. Tarvis vielä vähän aurinkoisia päiviä...vaikkei nyt niin aurinkoista oliskaan niin kyllä pari viikkoa tulee ainakin pidettyä vielä. Hometta ollut tosi vähän tänä vuonna ja vaan joissain yksilöissä vaikka vettäkin on välillä tullut kiitettävästi.

Pussseja hankkiville sellanen vinkki että ottakaa ne isommat pussit samoin tein. Ne pienet on vähän liian vaatimattomat. Itse prosessi on helppo kun mikä ja polttokelposta materiaalia saa käytännössä melkeen samoin tein jos vaan jaksaa puristella vedet pois. Vois melkeen siirtää pussikeskustelut ihan omaks hasa topikiks?

Viikonloppuna tehtiin parin kasvin trimmeistä 1-2g bubblea että kyllä sitä kannattaa harrastaa ihan pienelläkin mittakaavalla - senverran nousee tukka pystyyn noinkin rähmäsistä määristä.

Update on project "Iranian Short Season"

Well, where to start...

All the Diesel ryder males that originally were ment to pollinate the Iranian fems had died from old age.

So I completely fucked up by realising time had went, even tho I was supposed to germinate some new Diesel Ryder seeds much earlyer in order to provide some pollen for the Iranian females.

So somewhere end of august I anyways planted plenty of new DR seeds around the Iranians in the hope for an exeptionally good automn.

Fingers crossed here, but to ask me if I honestly believe in getting ready seeds by the end of season... Nah, I doubt, but sometimes miracles just happen.

Then I ran into some mature males that were about to shed their pollen from a friend.
These plants however were merely ment for seed oil production and have been created by Dr callaway to provide the Finola company with raw material.

Some guys in here actually smoke it, or make tea out of it, and to my objective opinion there truely is some slight medicinal effect to gain from it.

It relaxes a bit and calms ya down, even tho the THC content surely won't rise above the 0.5 %, so I reckon most of the credit goes to its high CBD content. (remember Dr callaway is a doctor)

Well then, I made up my mind and decided to give at least 1 single Iranian female that was left on a desolated spot a go, by planting out a number of callaway's his males around her.
I always wanted to know how a cross like that would work out, so inspite of all ppl compaining about the outcome of such a cross... I followed the path that happened to come my way.

Well, We'll see, we'll see from here. Worst case scenario will be that I get a shitload of unripened seeds on my Dieselryder X Iranian spot, or maybe just plain sinsimilla even.

And the best case scenario concerning the Iranian/Finola cross could be that all the hype on high THC levels will be just hype but nothing more, and that the most importend will be how the THC level compares to the CBD ratio.

Learning all the time here and hoping for the best. At least now I will be able to say: I got it first hand, and maybe it could be interesting to set up a sideline from this individual cross and try to get it more potent again on the long run.

Never give up, and if at first you don't succeed...at least there will be plenty to learn.

Onhan tota aikoinaan tullu tehtyä.....itse suosittelen kuivajään käyttämistä....paljon iisimpää kikkaille senkanssa ku perus jään.
Ei tarvii mitään himo ämpäreitä ja eikä tarvii pakastella kymmentä pussia jäätä ja tulee takuu varmasti kylmää vettä!

Joo, onhan siinä hommaa parin bubbleketolan takia, mutta yleensä se hatsi on ihan jees kanssa Kerran vuodessa tulee yleensä vanhojen aikojen takia/muistoksi pyöräytettyä bubblet.. Matsku vaan kunnolla pieneksi ja rutkasti sitä kylmää, niin kyllä se siitä. Viime kevättalvella duunasin takapihalla -18 asteessa, muuten ihan jees, mutta nakit oli loppupeleissä aika jäässä Onneksi kelpaa tuo vihriä kukkakin meikän poltoiksi

Toivotaan ettei pääsekään homeet pesiytymään. Mihin aikaan kaadoit viime vuonna? Nää on kylvetty toukokuussa ja viety parin päivän esikasvatuksella ruukuissaan ulos niinku kaikki mun kasvit. Ulkokasvatus on ulkokasvatusta Urkkeja ei tullut näistä yhtään ja en halunnut näitä siemenillä pilata, sääli sinänsä kun ovat kesän kestävimmät kasvit.

Lokakuun puolvälissä tais kaatua. Ulos menivät kesäkuun alussa muutaman viikon esikasvatuksella.

Sääennusteet ei kovin ruusuisilta vaikuta, mutta kai sitä pitää hiukan homeenkestoa koitella se kuitenkin on se suurin ongelma täälä suomessa. On parit hyvät siidupuskat joista ei oo löytyny hometta vielä tähän mennessä mutta toki nekään ei voi olla immuuneja homeelle ja tuleehan sitä jos tätä menoa jatkuu ja pidän ne ulkoilemassa...siiduistakin rupee suurin osa oleen kypsiä mut sen verran oon utelias näkemään millaisia säitä ne kestää että olkoot nyt vielä ainakin nää rankkasateet.

Viime kesä oli todella hyvä ja lämpöä piisas myöhälle syksyyn tuntuu että nyt on ollu aika perus kesä ei siis huono muttei huippukaan.

Ja jos tulee oikein sateisia kesiä niin olis se mukava saada edes jotain ettei käy niin että kaikki homehtuu jo elokuussa

Ovela Ratsu x Diesel Ryder levinny viime näkemältä aikast mukavasti. Paltiarallaa kuukauden nyt kukkinu. Harmi et kausi loppuu kesken. Ei tää leidi kyl näytä merkkiäkään syksystä. Ei ainuttakaan keltasta lehteä. Ravinteita sai viimeks kuukaus takaperi. Eilen annoin vielä töräyksen BioBloomia & BioBactia.




Viime viikon sieniretken saalis. Aivan mahottomasti on sieniä metsässä. Olis tarvinnu olla toinen ämpäri pykälässä ku ei kaikki mahtunu kyytiin. Suppiloi on alkanu nyt kunnol puskee.

Ostin bagit ebay:stä, joku tyyppi Kanadassa myi niitä. Ihan hyvän näköisiä pusseja, 20l kokoisia. Kun 20micronin pussi oli putsattu niin vedin vedet vielä silkscreenin läpi missä ei jäänyt juuri mitään. Tavaraa oli noin 200gr trimmi + lehdet. Kieffiä olisi tullut enemmän.

If however you like to pull off just a little bit more per spot then I would recommend you to sow in a see of green next time.

The "weight" is usually in the main cola, whereas the side shit fluff on one single big plant hardly does n't do anything more than making you angry comes manucuring.

OTH: The sidebranches on my Pehkuruder were real heavy, the branches were actually sagging under their weight. Strange how light even the main cola is after drying.
