More bud formations every day, she seems to be very sensitive to nutrients. The pH of the soil is right in 6.5 so we have no issues there and I added plenty of perlite for aeration. The 1 gallon fabric pots are really only good for mother plants in my opinion, a 5 gallon would be preferred but the 3 gallon is what I have for now.
The Blueberry and Haze are coming along nicely since I added some phosphorus to the soil. The Vero’s were also raised to lower the overall ppfd of the tent. With all other environmental factors within margin I’m suspecting light stress is the cause for the droop. I keep forgetting how much PAR these cobs are still producing.
She is doing much better this morning, lots of new growth with a little stretch up top. The light is basically maxed out right now, I’ll need to rearrange the tents so the flowering cycle has maximum height.
The Blueberry and Haze have rooted well and are starting to go up. I’m hoping to get these into 3 gallon fabric pots in the next month and build an auto-cloner.
Old phones have better cameras for close-up shots and without service they make a great remote for the environmental controls. Dialing-in the day/night cycles for multiple tents is going to be easy.
Blueberry and Haze are going crazy down there, they have been moved to get some indirect air circulation. Everyone was fed tonight, hopefully I can keep the environment steady.
Best thing I can see right now is not to disturb the ladies, every time the tent is opened the environment goes to hell.
The Kush is coming along, she’s really stretching towards the Vero’s. Lots of hairs and new growth all over. A slight defoliation every day unless it is not needed. Training has basically stopped, the branches are about where they need to be. She looks to be a bit over-watered, the environment is a bit more stable now than it was before and the 3 gallon fabric pots are holding a bit more moisture than the 1 gallon.
The Blueberry and Haze have been moved up to get a better seat at the table. Both look a bit light-starved. The clone looks to be doing well, there are also clones of parsley and dill that seem to be rooting.
I’ve never seen the desert aloe look this good. With the temperature in the mid to low 80’s and a relative humidity of 60-70% I haven’t had to water it at all. The aloe seems to actually be doing better under the shade of the Kush.
The veg tent has been ducted for evac, the 100W EB3 Slim luminaire is going to work @ ~80%. The girls are seeing ~200 ppfd currently and I’m absolutely impressed with these LED strips and the XLG drivers. The veg tent will be set for 24hr light until we get some roots going, the mat is on the lowest level for the clones.
So, I was bored and finished the 150W vegetation luminaire. Initial testing @ 15” seems very promising. They will stay in there to warm up a bit and burn-in, then we will take another test. For now, I’m convinced this type of configuration is the best for the application. This affirms the next set of designs to move forward. Also, the 4000k 80 CRI spectrum is very close to daylight, so running this for a week shouldn’t do any harm.
There is a chance we could see 2700k 90 CRI Vero’s in there…
