U.K cheese brightside cut ?

I have the original cheese clone, had it since before anyone started talking about exodus cheese, brightside, etc. The clone was imported from the UK in early 2000-2002.
The pics I have seen from growers here tell me that the brightside is the same clone, but nobody has been able to provide a DNA sample to confirm or disprove this hypothesis.
The flowers look identical, cheese has some traits that are not very common on their own, let alone all together like you see with her so if you know what to look for, you can spot the traits even across the internet.

I have flowers going into the lab in the next 2 weeks to get a chemical fingerprint. If any of you brits want to share DNA, pass it along and we'll get it run through a sequencer and see if we can get a fingerprint that matches what we know as cheese, or we can put some evidence more than just rumor and talk to this cheesy tale.

Im up for sending samples to this guy. Ive pm'd him. Even if its a match with his cheese, it may not be Brightside but one useful thing will be to confirm if Dogons and windows cut are the same. If OJD can send some of his Brightside, we can see if Dogons, Windows or Chimeras match.

If 'brightsides' cheese is the same 'cheese' which was shared from haz manor/exodus crew,I have smoked it,grown it,ditched it...around a decade ago

I'm also amazed that you haven't read the countless other posters who have referenced either licourice or black-hash as being a smell which the clone they had as 'brightsides' gave off,and tasted like when smoked.

I never took an interest in cheese to be honest, but have gained a bit of knowledge on it through this thread and appreciate you guys and your input. Enjoying the history side of it (knowledge acquired by investigation) that so many of you have put in.

I had also pm'd chimera about this, I won't share his pm as I think that's against tou, but here's what he said.

Currently his cheese close has been tested, and he's looking for a sample of a verified brightside cut to test, I imagine OJD would be the best bet for this.

If any of us want to confirm our clones as cheese, the sequencing labs sell the genotyping service. I had a quick search around and it looks like the name of the lab / place is called Phylos Bioscience, we would have to pay for testing ourselves. Chimera confirmed to me that this is a good place.

I think the genotyping service is able to tell us the lineage of the strain tested. And if we all send in samples they will be able to tell if the cuts are the same clone, siblings or hybrids of the original cheese clone. The testing did look expensive though.

I'm pretty sure that's correct, sorry if any of that info is wrong.

I think it would be interesting if we could get hold of sonic and Jah hoover to get samples of the suicide and jahs cut tested aswel.

I'm going to do abit more research in to this but I'm defo interested in getting my cut tested.

If OJD could send a sample of the brigbtside cut in and if anyone could contact Jah hoover and sonic I think that would be a great place to start.

Then we could test all the unlabled cheese clones to get to the bottom of this mystery.

Judging from this quote on their website all you need is a stem sample and you should be able to legally send it.

Why the fuck would you expect someone else to pay $300 per sample for the testing for you, on cuts that you have only just received and not even flowered out yet?

It might be a different story if you sourced them yourself, but you didnt...

Ive deleted the post. Apologies but Id rather you HAD posted MY pm to you, rather than misrepresent it! It was far from presumptuous - I didn't say "Oi test these for me fella" - It was a polite enquiry from a long time member after you offered to test any brits samples.

hi i saw your post in the thread Brightside cut - i have some plants Id like to send you sales of for testing to see if its same as your uk cheese.
They are cuts from member Dogon and Window. It would be useful several of us to know if the two cuts I have are in fact the same because has been speculated. If you give me an address Ill get samples to you.

Im hardly an unknown since Ive been a member here longer than most. You are talking as though Im a new member just randomly sending you begging letters lol I referenced the thread in which I found YOUR OFFER so it wasn't from "nowhere" either. It was a response to your public post offering testing to brits. For the record, as I said in my pm, the results would have been useful to a number of us, not just me.
