Those girls are quite impressive for 32 days...

Good job sir.

:ying:

I agree. Nice to see what plants can do when you don't stress them. Cheesegez has his feeding and environment sorted which is helpful when people are trying to recognise specific traits. It actually looks like it stinks :)

What medium are you growing in Cheezegez?

Reason I ask is you'll get different flavours depending on how you feed, and they look pretty heavily fed.

Too much N particularly will mask the terps when you come to smoke the flowers, and may not allow the true flavours to be expressed in the smoke.

Peace

gotta say I think this is the same as windows , maybe to early to say but im still getting them liquorice undertones...

Well, mine JUST rooted. I was watching like a hawk and both window and dogons rooted 100% simultaneously, perfectly in sync, all but 1 which rooted a few days ago. I hope they are both the BSC after all.

I tihnk the leaves are a bit too fat blaze?! - New unfragile looking
However ,all send me samples :D ...
I know what she's like !

I will do once she comes down. I will post some more pics up of leaves, so you can see the double serations etc. Only reason she looks a bit 'new/unfragile' is because of the CMH that ive had her under, that tent is a mix of gavita and CMH lighting, she was vegged under the CMH though. Since ive had the CMH the girl look the healthiest ive ever had them.

If i leave her in a small pot, let her get rootbound or dont pot up ontime then she will start to go woody, gets those purple hard stems etc. Personally i prefer to take the clones when there nice and fresh, i try not to let her get too woody.

I will try and leave one in the corner of my veg tent under a 250w hps to show you what i mean, you will also be able to see the difference between the 250w hps and the CMH.

After looking at OJD and dogons pics i dont think shes the brightside cut.

If you search google for 'brightside cheese', the 4th link that comes up is from the farm, its a thread called 'different cheeses'. Check it out, correct me if im wrong but im pretty postive that the 4th post if from you on an old account. Either way theres a picture in that thread labled 'suicide cheese'. IMO that pic looks exactly like the pic of my cut in flower that i posted earlier, the bud structure is bang on.

However if you look at that pic labeled suicide from that thread, it looks completely different from HGO's pics of the suicide cut, that he posted here.

Its difficult to tell though because of differences in peoples rooms growing styles / environment etc.

Hopefully cheezegez will be able to grow out my cut, windows, the dogon bright side cut and your cut side by side to show us all the differences. And if spaventa has the brightside cut and windows he should do both side by side, throw some pics up then we can start to see how much of a difference environment really plays when the same cuts are grown by different people in different rooms etc.

Blaze where have you seen OJDs brightside pics could you maybe post some I've ruthlessly hunted through his gallery lol And gave up ... I've been speaking with OJD recently and he doesn't recon that the current cut I'm growing is actually brightsides at all , unfortunatly and at this stage I agree

Your cut looks different to dogons I've got to say as a cutting anyway ... yours has darker leaves and grows more straight ... at this point it's all I can offer speculations ... as I have for the past 100 odd pages but soon the speculation will be confirmed one way or another I know that soon I'll have brightsides cheese 100% no questions asked at least then I can except the finished produce as brightsides cheese ... the problem Is not one of the 8 different cuts of cheese I've grown out was labelled brightsides cheese so I will never except the finished product as brightsides cheese ,unless it was the stuff I used to smoke or it was from someone labelled brightsides cheese before I had any input ...

All I know is when she gets here she'll be spread to those who've participated in aiding the findings and those of you who've never smoked her your in for a real treat ..So that goes for many of you lot , I appreciate all your help and paintence it will all be worth it in the end.

I know what I'm Looking for bare with ....

I thought i saw pics of OJD's cut posted in this thread a few pages back, if not my bad i may have got confused with dogons pics. Ive looked at that many pics of cheese and re read through all those old threads that my head is starting to hurt.

Hopefully you find the one that you used to smoke, youve gone through that many cuts now that shes got turn up eventually, someone out there must still be holding on to her.

I just hope that this whole quest for BS cheese isn't an exercise in showing how we've all been looking at the past through rose tinted spectacles..I've seen it before many many times and I hope if it does still exist it lives up to others expectations..I still maintain that if anyone was willing to drop the funds on a handful of packs of whichever fillial generation of flo seeds which were being sold in the late nineties/early noughties that they would find plants which meet every descriptor I've seen here of brightsides cheese...especially the black hash taste, and the extreme stench that means you cannot use public transport for hours after handling a lit joint, and the paranoia induced by growing such a smelly variety.
(Also, not that Milo (buddha) is an expert on cheese by any stretch of the imagination, but when he smoked it at the telford expo (2004?) he thought it was a cheese he was smoking)

OK..

I've started some very old flo seeds which were given to me by the widow of the grower who selected and widely shared the plant I have stated several times I think could be 'brightsides cheese' just based on this black hash description, the described growth habits and the fact that when I grew this cutting and another I had been given as 'uk cheese' side by side they were virtually identical..I have 2 females,I lost a third, once I have flowered them myself,if the characteristics mentioned are present,I'd be willing to share it with anyone who has the 'brightsides' so they can make up their own mind..I know trays of these flo clones made their way up and down the country, often accompanied by blue satellite or 'blueberry sativa' clones (BS?) as at the time many growers I knew regarded both those cultivars as essential headstash.
