No its a skunk#1 from the 90s a uk pheno with a very unique chemical... its the only plant to contain the thc compound "i dont give a fuk" its not found in any other strain which is why the exodus is soooo sought after

Not jumping down your throat but i dont think its a great analogy either. cheese smells kinda like cheese so the names not hype, its niche really, and the selection on the skunk lines were done in holland and then the UK before cheese made her way "back" to the US.. with her mostly Asian genetics anyway.. correct me if im wrong.

You new dudes are kinda off base, cheese is pure uk heritage,, sk1 was made by samS in the USA,, brought to Holland in the late 80s,, selection done by Sam to remove the roadkill,, sensi seeds sold sweet sk1 in 89,, some guys and some of them seeds stunk to high heaven,, one guy called Brightside passed out the ultimate stinker,,, i passed out the brightside and everyone lost it,, even me,, that's what this thread is all about,,, finding Brightside!!

Seeing some cheese here which is nice to have around, pretty similar to the exodus I had a while back but different too. Supposed to be to S-o-t cheese, likely is.
Kind of like a cheese danish smell is how I would describe it, with lavender mixed in.
The S-o-t was a better structured plant, as far as being able to support itself, quite healthy and vigorous in growth. Exodus was plenty healthy but grew in a more viney, lateral way, like a menorah type plant.
Yes it's another trait that show us what the real Cheese plant structure look like. Really viney, grow more horizontally than vertically as secondary branches grow faster than the main apexes when topped. It needs to have suckers constantly pruned to get a small apex growing. Branches are kinda weak and needs support at the end of flowering when buds get heavy. Will try her one bud sog style soon to see if she like it better to hold herself as she'll maybe get a stronger structure that way.
Anyone asked the question why so many of us had her but let her go?

That's also why I prefer to switch on Sour D for daily use, love the strong skunky sour taste without the depressing high of Cheese. For taste only Cheese is crazy that's why I still keep her. Plus she'll bring interisting old Dutch Skunk traits for some breeding projects I have in mind.
I just got a cut of Cheese from the legit source, direct from the cru.. I'll see if the same as the other one.. I'm sending stuff to Phylos via a trusty contact of mine heavily connected in that circle to see if I can get the conformation that they are the same, you can all do this too with all your cuts.. The USA one is confirmed bright side as that was in exchange for the Sour D my contact has both of I think..
The other Cheese from USA is probably not the Brightside if we're talking about the same circle. Stoney may have received a S-O-T or plain Suicide cut as I remember the clone came via Birdy.
the clone from brightside 100% was sent to east and west coasts in 2005
